What a waste of time, effort and money.

The Buffet at Andreotti's
Dinner $12.99, 4pm-10pm

I have read good things about this place. I guess the reviews are very old. THe line was very long--our wait was even longer.. (at least an hour) but figured the reviews were good- the line gotta mean something so we waited.

We finally get a seat.. then head to the buffet. what a joke. Was that all or were we missing something??? I swear the buffet table was maybe 8 feet long. After waiting forever we had to now wait to get food.
first up were crab legs and shrimp. (these were still frozen.) the beef they had was so rare I swear I heard it moo as the guy was cutting it.
Salads were so wilted. I think this was the worse meal of our week in Vegas. I was very disappointed. I was expecting a good italian selection. They had mac and beef. That was as itilian as it got. We didnt eat much and were completly done within a half hour of arriving.

The normal buffet at Harrahs is closed for remodeling. Not sure when they re-open. I haven't been there since the temporary one opened but I am sure it is a much smaller scale in the temporary location.

My last trip to Vegas I soooooooo disappointed at this buffet. I'm glad I was comped or otherwise I would have asked for my $$$ back.

Typical of the recent corporate decisions at Harrah's.
