Had another wonderful week in Vegas. My mom & I go every year. Took Southwest direct from Albany, NY. We stay at the Imperial Palace and like it very much. Sorry to see that Harrah's bought it. It was a very reasonably priced hotel with good comps.
I was very lucky there. Hit a penny Monopoly machine for $725.00. It was a progressive machine but you could play any amount to get the progressive bonus. I was playing a quarter each time.
We also took advantage of the free Laughlin trip that comes with our Southwest Airlines vacation package. We go to Laughlin every year but this time the bus driver took us around Lake Mead and also all around the Hoover Dam. It was absolutely beautiful.
Looking forward to next year.
