Went to Wayne Brady's show at the Venetian last week and have to give it thumbs up.
It was a 90 minute show with approx 60 minutes of it being improve that usually had people from the audience up on stage with him involved as props or sound effects etc. He has a co host , Jonathon, who is very good and could hold his own with funny one liners. I found the time flew by as you were either laughing or waiting to see who he was going to grab amongst the crowd for an idea or to bring up on stage. He did do some songs that again involved audience ideas but the last 20 minutes or so was deciated to old school vegas songs of people he admired growing up whith which he does a great job. So yes there is both improve and singing but the majority of it is comedy that is very very funny .

We like Wayne. We watch him on "Who's line is it....." - really funny. We're planning to catch his show on our December trip.

Thanks for the review.

hi tiny_girl....did you see how skinny his legs were when he got dressed as Tina Turner? I was amazed.

He's been on my "want to see" list. Anyone find discount tickets, or did you just fork over full price.

I'm leaving tomorrow, so any info SOON would be really appreciated!

LOL apple, I had meant to mention how tiny a guy he is. Also, he really looked like Cuba Gooding Jr with his partial facial hair that night.

The cameras for sure add 10lbs to people cause he had very skinny legs and is not very tall or big but I bet he is in very top shape with how much he runs around the stage all night long.

he is still sexy though

pam, we paid full price plus an extra bit to sit front center including a meet and greet photo op after the show. If you watch when you leave, the front row wont get up, they tell us to stay until everyone else has exited and then they lead us into a room and we waited bout 5 minutes for him to come out and see us all.

I rarely look at the half price tickets, months before we decide on our shows and always try and get the seats we want. I do think though when walking past the South Point 1/2 Price place, it did have wayne brady offered. Not 100% positive on that but thought I recall seeing his name there.
