We have a timeshare at the Polo Towers. Can anyone tell us what they are like??? Will it be worth our time to stay there? Is it a secure facility? What amentities do they offer?? pool?? lounge?
Any help would be appreciated.

I have stayed here about 4, or 5 times. My Mother is a charter member, but hasn;t used it in a while. I own a TS in Penn. so we trade amongst ourselves.
This is IMHO the BEST timeshare in Vegas. Depending on where you stay, you may have a strip view suite. My mothers unit is a strip side, 1 bedroom on the 17th floor. We have a lil balcony that overlooks the strip. I can see the Bellagio fountains from there. What a great place to have a night cap with the Wifey.
They also have rooms without the view. There is 2 towers, and some villa's in the back.I have only stayed in OUR unit, so thats all i can comment on.
The place is secure. There is security riding around in golf carts. They have a parking lot that is a bit of a walk away, but there is usually one of those golf carts around to give you a ride to , and from your car. They also have Valet parking
They have a roof top pool on one of the towers. I have not seen it, but the wife says it's nice. There is also a lounge on the 20th floor i think. That i have been to. There is a giant glass window, with comfy chairs to sit in and look down at the strip. NO FOOD.
There is laundry facilities on a bunch of the floors.
The room we stay in has a FULL kitchen. I belive most, if not all have them.
And finally, Location, Location, Location. This place is between the Paris, and MGM. Need i say more.
If you have any other questions, Ask away. Enjoy your stay:)

Some friends took us to their timeshare at Polo Towers last year. We were very impressed with the quality of the room. The view (seems like it was around twelfth floor) was pretty nice of the strip and the lounge had a great view. If we wanted a timeshare this one would be right up there at the top of the list.

Wife and I +guest stayed in a 2 bedroom on an II exchange. Try to get the FRONT building, as they have the very best strip views, especially @ nite.
Place was clean comfortable, and quiet. View from the lounge in the front building (the one where the check-in front desk is) is great at nite. Roof=top pool is in the second building from the front, and has a hot tub towards the back. No veiw from the pool, as I recall.
Would we go back? Absolutely.

We have a timeshare at Polo Towers usable during Comdex week. It is nice, but we are much more comfortable at the Jockey Club, which is an older timeshare next to Bellagio. Parking at Polo has been quite inconvenient, and the shuttle (golf cart) is rarely around when we are looking for one. Handicapped parking is in an awkward location. It is hard to get into the building after dark from that area if you are handicapped. Security is very evident, so that's not a problem.

We own at the Jockey and feel more comfortable here than when over at the Polo. We had taken a tour there a number of years ago and then received an offer to stay several nites and try them out. We did and were put in an older unit with a view and the unit needed light bulbs replaced and two other items didn't work to which we notified the desk and they never got fixed the whole visit we were there. It is hard to fix your makeup and hair in the living room as that is the best light in the unit. We decided to not buy and bought a resale at the Jockey and several more since then. We have met people who love the Polo Towers.......we just love the Jockey and the lesser maint. fees and closer to the strip. We also can't wait until the new complex is done too. Have a great trip.
