We just returned from our annual trip to Vegas 10/2 - 10/8. Flew out of Detroit (direct flight to and from) for $508.00 for two on Northwest. We stayed at our time share at the Jockey Club, next door to Belligo's. On the other side of the Jockey Club a new building will be constructed called the Cosmopolitian. I know this building will include a casino, restaurants and shops, but don't believe it will be a hotel.

Now if you care to move away from the strip, drive out N. Las Vegas Blvd., towards Henderson and see what a change this desert has become. New condos, time shares, homes, casinos, and shopping malls.

We ate several times in the Aladdin, which will soon be called "Planet Hollywood", at the different restaurants, ate at Paris, the buffet at IP and of course couldn't go home without eating at Ellis Island, never had a bad meal there, although prices have slightly increased.

Keep up the good work Steve.;)

Sherry,

Have you checked out Spirit Air? My husband and I flew out in July and two tickets, round trip, direct only cost about $360.00. We will be getting Allegiant Air in Toledo starting in December 15th with, I think, prices of $79.00 one way.

We can't wait. We hate to fly out of Detroit, as we only live 10 minutes away from the Toledo Express Airport.

Thanks VegasLady,

We really like flying out of Grand Rapids, actually Kalamazoo is much much closer but far more expensive. We chose the Detroit trip this time because of the direct flight and the "so so" cost. I tried Allegiantair out of Lansing but their fares were about the same. I will check Sprite for our next trip.
Takes lot's of money slot very tight especially on the weekend. Sherry
