Has anyone tried Olives at Bellagio? If so I am wondering what your experiences have been like. I am planning out my Vegas Itenerary for November and thinking about trying Olives. I have heard and read very mixed reviews. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks

I ate there last Oct. Nice surroundings; out table was near the bar and by the main traffic way that all the staff used to deliver food from the kitchen,
so it was a little busy/loud. We did have a nice view of the fountains (next to the window), but there are better tables w/ same view...
I had a huge martini - then salad and a flatbread (bascially a pizza) - very good. Only problem was w/ the wine service for my friend - said $25. per glass on the menu, sommilier (sp?...) said it was 1/2 price --- so he ordered it - when the bill came, it turns out that $25 WAS the 1/2 price...it got adjusted (eventually), but was kind of a downer/hassle at the end of the meal.
They are open for lunch - I'd reccomend that if you don't want to spend as much $ for dinner, many same items. This goes for several finer restaurants in LV ---
I'd go back, but there are a few places I'll go first.

The first time I went the food was delectable. It was all in the combinations and spices. Love the flatbread and olive tapenade they give as an appetizer too. Service is good. Yep, I was surprised by the wine prices. Like the other gentleman, I ordered a white house wine that was delicious but it cost me $12.00 a 1/2 glass. Even so, I still make a point to go to Olives very time I go to Vegas. It's worth it. I also make a point to sit outside on the patio for the view.

Food is excellent. I stay at the Bellagio whenever I visit Las Vegas and make it a point to always dine at Olives. You will not be dissapointed.
If you enjoy Mediterranean food with robust flavors, Olives is a must.

Olives is absolutely wonderful. Try to sit outside on the patio...the view and songs of the fountain show will blow you away. This place is very romantic. Check www.ratevegas.com for other good restaurants.

I've never had a meal at Olives I didn't like. And as reported earlier, the bread/olives/olive oil they serve you is very good.
Yep, their cocktails are expensive, however my blueberry martini (which was infused with fresh blueberries) was worth $14 because I remember it well. I hope they weren't just served during the summer, though, because I plan on going back next month and having another one!
I recommend Olives, especially if you're looking for a nice place for lunch. The prices aren't outrageous, and the food and service are great.

The food was very good, but expensive (no drinks, split a salad and two entree's - $100). Seemed a bit crowded and loud indoors. i think the only way I would go back was if I could get a table outside to see the fountain show.
