Well I am new and jumping in with both feet! I'm 39, from southern Indiana (Evansville), work in a bank by day, but am a tattooed & pierced motorcycle mama on the weekends! No kids, married 8 years to a guy I knew for 12 before he got up the nerve to ask me out. (He was ONE OF my best friends; now he IS my best friend.)
I've never been to Vegas. I am going for the first time this year. My husband and I talked about going there to elope - do the whole cheesy Elvis wedding and everything - but didn't. My brother is taking me as a special gift for the fist avviersary of my 39th birthday and my hubby is tagging along! I plan to do EVERYTHING that I can to get the "Vegas" experience sine I may never go again - a day at the spa (I was smart and booked OFF strip at a place where I can get twice as many services for half the money, a night alone with hubby in a "hot tub" room, Stripper 101 classes, some of the free shows, one stage show ("BITE" - I am into vampires!), and finally lots and lots of shopping - a FREDRICK'S store! I have to buy on the internet for sexy clothes at home! I know, I know, I sound like a hick. Being from where I am, I feel like one at the thought of going to Vegas!
I've posted on a couple of threads hoping someone will have a few extra coupons they want to gift me with - I have NONE to trade for Vegas and unless you plan a trip to the SW corner of Indiana, nothing I have would be of value to you!
I also am looking for a little advice on some stuff from Vegar vets - are the "free shows" worth going to see? Which attractions are worth spending money on? Where is the best place for good food at a good price - locally owned, off-strip stuff. Has anyone been to the Pinball Hall of Fame? I want to go, but am not sure if it's really as cool as it sounds. Is it a waste of time and gas to get there from the Strat?
Sorry this is so long - I talk this much too! - but that's me in a nutshell..... which fits since my husband says I'm nuts!
