That had to be "x" at the Aladdin. Terrible show. The only redeeming factor was the comedian. He was just okay. Thank God we didn't pay for the show. Walked out halfway thru:eek:
Best was the Wayne Brady show, funny, entertaining and just a great time.

Answer to this question can change with each new trip to Vegas. But so far . . .
Best (or at least, my favorite) was Avenue Q at Wynn. Too bad it didn't last longer.
Worst so far was Carrot Top at Luxor. Thankfully, I had free tickets for that, so I guess it was worth every penny I paid.

Best for me is a tie between "LOVE" and "Mamma Mia". Don't have a worse show, have seen many and loved them all.

Best- Elton John Red Piano David Cassidy in EFX, Scintas, Rita Rudner, Barry Manilow
Worst-V-Variety Show at the Venetian-- I could see those acts on the Ed Sullivan show for free!
Also Mac King- 1st time was great, but I wish he'd change his act- even facial expressions are the same!

The best show for me is a three way tie, elton john, love and ka, the worst show by far was the blue man group.

best- I saw O this weekend, it was wonderful
runner up- Spamlot with John O'Hurley (the guy who played Elaine's boss and was on Dancing with the Stars) it dropped hard when I saw it a second time without him...
worst- honestly Carrot Top kind of sucked, I saw him years ago in college for $15 and it was good, for $60+ not worth it.
okay- Thunder Down Under, my friend loves the show, I thought it was a bit silly the first time, the second it was worse....
silly- Tony and Tina's wedding, the show is okay, the food is not so great...
stupid- Larry G Jones, luckily it was free, but never again, his show was aimed at a different age group then my age group, so not for me...

:)This on is easy for me.
Best: FX at the MGM with Michael Crawford. Some years ago. I was on the edge of my seat.
Worst: Everyone is going to think this is crazy. But I didn't like Sigfried and Roy at all. There were 4 of us. My husband loves magic. He didn't like it either. My son-in-law and I almost fell asleep and my daughter didn't like it either.
Went to see Wayne Newton a couple of years ago and not a big fan but his show was great. Lost voice and all. Very entertaining.
Funniest was a free bee at Riveria comedy. Laughed till I had tears.

The worst is a tie Redd Fox & John Fox Both were disturbingly filthy, racist and homophobic.

The WORST show I have ever seen in Vegas is actually still playing at the TROPICANA. It's called "FOLIES BERGERE" with or without tops the show is just bad, terrible, awful. The only reason we saw the show is because we got tickets from 1/2 price tickets and somebody who was with us insisted on seeing the show. The Folies Bergere Is a adventure thru time with lots of costume changes and girls who sit on swings and swing over the audience and lots of dancers running all over the stage creating motion and distraction away from how really terrible the show is. If you REALLY HATE SOMEBODY and you know they are going to Las Vegas suggest this show, even if you have never seen it. This show is so bad it's like watching Bowling on TV or watching Paint Dry and the show room in the TROPICANA was only 1/3 full on a Saturday night. If you like to see topless females that are very flat chested then this is the show for you. THE FOLIES BERGERE just made me angry for even spending 1/2 price on a ticket, I would have had more fun drinking free drinks in a Casino and loosing the money I paid for the ticket in a slot machine.

The Best show is Lance Burton at the Monte Carlo
Other great shows have been.....
Siegfried and Roy at the Stardust years ago
Rich Thomas when he was at the Trop.
Mac King At Harrah's
The Scintas where ever they appeared!

Easily.....the best shows we've seen have been Cirque shows.....LOVE, O, and Mystere. Fabulous shows!!!! I'd see them again and again.
Honestly, we haven't seen a bad show in Vegas. We're pretty particular in what we see and have been very careful in choosing the shows. We've been awfully lucky!!!

best: LOVE and mystere
don't have a worst show but if we included tours it would definitely be "the haunted vegas tour" out of greek isles. what a friggin joke and insult. the funny part was that some of the people who got the VIP package honestly thought their divining rods were working.

The Best show I ever saw in Vegas was the Scintas. I saw them in three (3)
locations, the Rio, Sahara, and at the Las Vegas Hilton.
The worst show I ever saw was also one of the most expensive. That would be Cirque Soleil. Nothing more than a glorified Circus but extremely boring.
Would not go again if they paid ME $ 100.00 to attend!

I have never paid for it in Vegas yet...
Time to go under the Fremont Street canopy.
I was so disappointed when the FSE upgraded. Sure the lights are brighter and save energy compared to the first incarnation. But the new (what four year ago?) selection of shows just suck. The new music will not inspire you in any manner...if over 30 years old.
Now let's go back to the original show line-up. The Classics Vegas show was my second best choice...clapping hands, piano playing...Elvis!
But what got me off the chair at a BJ table and to step outside under the canopy was the "Classic Rock" show. Some visits it was done twice a night, early then the last show at midnight.
Who can forget the opening beats to Led Zeps "Rock and Roll" (Cadillac did it later), Beatles "Lucy in the Sky", Santana "Black Magic Woman", Stones "Tumbling Dice", the Doors and then The Who- "We won't get Fooled Again!".
I miss that 12 minutes of fun.

This Topic Of The Week question will be the first in a few "Best and Worst" questions.
What was the best show you ever saw in Las Vegas and what was the worst one you ever saw?
Steve
the worst was the MUSIC GROUP BTO. I THOUGHT THEY WOULD PLAY ALL THEIR OLD SONGS, BUT THEY PLAYED SONGS I NEVER HEARD OF AND FOR KIDS IN THEIR 20'S. I AM IN MY LATE 50'S AND WANTED TO HEAR WHAT THEY DID IN THE 60'S. MY FRIENDS AND I WALKED OUT. AND SO DID ALOT OF OTHERS.
THE BEST IS THE 'LOVE' BEATLES SHOW. I WOULD SEE IT AGAIN AND AGAIN. AT THE COST OF $165 A PERSON!!
Nancy from Indiana

The best: Cirque du Soleil Mystere, Mama Mia, & Rod Stewart
The worst: the girls of magic (whatever it was called) at the old San Remo

Best Shows were EFX with Michael Crawford years ago, Siegfried and Roy, Mystere, Danny Gans, Blue Man Group because my husband is a drummer and a plumber, so it was our cup of tea, with honourable mention to the original Splash, Jubilee, Enter the Night and Rich Little. I love every show, but Follies Bergere at the Tropicana was our worst, and maybe Boo or something like that at New York New York a few years ago. Steve Wyrick was okay as was La Cage at the Riveria and the Croft Puppets, even Viva Las Vegas was pretty good. I love the comedy acts too, and saw Ray Romano before he was famous, and enjoyed him. He even asked me a question in his act. I would love to see O, La Reve, Ka, Love and the newest Cirque one, but I can't afford those shows any more.

The worst was Crazy Girls (even on a comp).
Dishonorable mention in the "Good show but fading star" category was Wayne Newton...everything in the show is good except his voice, which seems to be totally gone.
The best was Folies Bergere.

The best shows are easy: Blue Man Group and Menopause - The Musical.
The worst is also easy: Crazy Girls, we were very disappointed, especially with all the hype.

Worst: Some magic show at the now torn down Bourbon Street
I have not seen a lot of the available shows yet and this, could change.

Best = EFX with Michael Crawford - what a production
Platter coasters and the drifters (now the Marvellettes are there) was fun. Small venue, lots of audience participation, they camed down to sit with us.
Worst is a tie between the bad impersonators at the IP and Stratosphere. Did not really enjoy Jubilee either.

I don't think there is a bad Vegas show, only a matter of show taste. BUT, in 1995 Wayne Newton at Luxor was bad. He talked 'down' to his band first half of show. Finally he sang, badly. People walked out. I know Mr Vegas had an off night. Very disappointing as I've dreamed for decades to see Wayne on the Strip. The Luxor made it 'right' with us. My latest favorite is Barry Manilow, awesome. Viva

Gladys Knight. I know I saw her show 15 times. I really hate that she has left:(

03-17-2008, 06:31 PM
Best: Steve & Eydie at the Desert Inn & Avenue Q at the Wynn
Worst: Natalie Cole at Ceaser's Palace - room was too cold & way over crowded, sound system was on the fritz, video of Nat King Cole wouldn't play for the duet, set started late and ended early and the photogirl spent almost the entire concert arguing with a couple at our table about the quality & price of the pictures ... my last concert in the old Ceaser's theatre ...
LadySkinArt
03-17-2008, 07:16 PM
Best - Blue Man Group when it was at the Luxor - great ending!
Worst - Never really saw a bad show per say, but I'm going to complain that the Cirque shows are ridiculously over priced for the "regular" type of person. Some of us would like to see those shows and are not shelling out an arm and a leg for good seats...What ever happened to good cheap fun?

03-17-2008, 07:33 PM
Our favorite show was "Phantom", followed closely by "Mamma Mia" and "Danny Gans".
Hard to say what was the worst show. Even "Buck Wild" and "Tropical Passion" had their moments;).
Also must say that the "Cirque" shows are okay but but they just don't justify their price to me. I realize that with the large cast and huge sets the overhead must be tremendous but they just don't do much for me personally:confused:.
WORST: Ann-Margret in "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" (Aladdin Theater) We actually walked out before it ended.
BEST: Elton John & Billy Joel "Face to Face" at the MGM Grand Garden. It was like seeing three concerts in one. Elton alone. Billy alone. Then Elton & Billy together.
Great, great show.

03-17-2008, 08:03 PM
Best - I will go with the original Cirque "Mystere", it was awesome.
Worst was Penn and Teller - lousy magic, bad personality.
Just to mention the others I've been to, I really enjoyed:
La Reve was great (even when they had the little seats).
I would put Mac King at the top for magic and laughs, especially for the money.
Jerry Sienfeld - Real pro, very very funny.
Blue Man Group - loved it (but I'm a drummer, how could I not?)
Carrot Top - one of my favorites.
Rita - Hilarious, perfect timing, great wit.
The dinner show at the Egg and I.. We had a lot of fun there, great people running the place.
Star Trek the Experience - really fun if you're a fan of the show.
Not quite so good:
Crazy Girls, although the girls were cute and sexy it just seemed to be done really on the cheap.
Viva Las Vegas at Stratosphere - also done on the cheap, bad lip synch..
Now Gone:
FX at MGM with David Cassidy - was really good and the first big Vegas show I saw. I might have higher standards now.
I can't remember the name of it, but Cirque did a show with horses in a tent one time at Christmas.. it left something to be desired, but the horses were cool.
Bacchanal - at Caesars - really old timey Vegas Entertainment - great food - corny entertainment.
Magical Empire at Caesars - This was fantastic - sorry it's gone.. great deal for the money.

WORST! Was the Luau at the Imperial Palace, the lady spent the first 1/2 hour showing birthday and anniversary people how to dance Haiwaan.
Best....not sure. Going to see Jay White and La Cage this trip in April.:)

Best by far I think is "Mystere". But Clint Holmes, Mamma Mia, Tom Jones, and O come close.
Worst is the Luau at Imperial Palace. But the food was very good!

 I'll get the bad out of the way first. We were both VERY disappointed with Toni Braxton. We paid extra for seats up front and when it was over we couldn't believe we had paid for that. We would rather just listen to the CD. It is much better than the real thing. Go to her show if you just want to see her parade around and look at blown up photos of Toni, but don't care about the music.
:D We both loved Celine Dion, Mystere, Phantom, Love, Lance Burton
:) Worth seeing: Ka, Danny Gans, Scintas
Oldies we're glad we saw: Siegfried and Roy, Liberace, Kenny Rogers (July 4 outside on Ceasar's tennis courts), Tom Jones
Still want to see Le Reve and O. Had tickets to Mamma Mia twice and just didn't go (but maybe we should). Would love to see Elton John and Barry Manilow but have already seen them at home and can't justify the high prices.

I'm suprised someon hasn't said Phantom of the Opera as the best. I've seen a few but this one beat them all IMHO.
Worst? had to be "O".
Downtown: That 70's retro band. Man they were terrible and 100's of people really liked them. Alot of tome deaf people on this panet.

The best show that I saw was the Debbie Reynolds show at her Casino.
It was also the worst show because it was the last one that Debbie would
ever perform at her Casino. I was very fortunate to have seen it.
Afterwards, Ms. Reynolds was very gracious in allowing us old geezers to be
photographed with her.
We miss you, Debbie

Best Show - Love. Perfect blend of Beatles music and imagery. Unbelievable sound system, not a bad seat in the house.
Worst Show - Ice at the Riv. Was looking for something we could take our 12-year-old niece to. She loved it; my wife and I were bored to death. Nothing special unless you've never been to a Vegas show before.

The Best had to be Ka' We sat in the second row the first time we saw it. And it was in your face action. Then when the stage flipped to look make it look like your seeing the action from over head. Awsome. Then went back a second time and sat way back from the stage, Whoa was it different. Myster' is good too. The action is all over the area it's in. "O" was good too.
As for the worst. Sorry to say, The Blue Man Group was not good. It just got too perdicable after the third stick. Not worth the $$$. The ending was okay but nothing to write home about

I've seen a lot of great shows in Vegas but the one that stands out to me is "KA." I've seen it 4 times now and it's amazing and spectacular to me. I would also say "LOVE" is pretty amazing too.
I'm sorry to say this but my least favorite show was "The Scintas." I just never got into it, was bored silly, and left before it was over.
I also hate to say this but I didn't like "Sigfried and Roy" either - I felt like they were just going through the motions and the show was just bad.

Favorites were Mystere, Mama Mia and Jay White as Neil Diamond and the Fab Four. Never really had a bad show. We have tickets for Love and Spamalot this trip along with some oldies shows and comedy at Tropicana. Went to a cheapie comedy show at the old Maxim years ago and it was the best, cheapest time.

Wow I am so glad you hated the show also "FOLIES BERGERE" AT THE TROPICANA. It was like watching paint dry and I did walk out trying to figure out what I had just seen and why I had paid for something that should have been free. It was so bas it should have been FREE. I love Broadway shows and Comedy acts and I just recently saw Lisa Lampanelli at the House of Blues she is crude and talks trash but I personally think she is funny and we also saw Kathy Griffin at Mandalay Bay, Kathy Griffin is always funny. I am glad you Hated "FOLIES BERGERE" even the comdey act durning the break in the show was bad. I wounder when they are going to discontinue this show and look for something new.
The best had to be Stevie Wonder when he was the headliner at the opening of Paris several years ago. As I remember, we were kept waiting for close to 2 hours but it was a phenomenal show once it got going.
The worst had to be George Carlin. His material is very, very funny - too bad he has to spoil it with the constant (every second word) use of foul language.

Best: The Blue Man group...I totally felt like I was back in the 70's on a good trip, LOL. Either you "get" this show or you "don't" ...there really is no in-between. I also like anything at the House of Blues just because of the venue and size and intimate feeling with the entertainers.
Worst: Harrah's Comedy Show...The comedians were so rude and swore every second word. I didn't find them funny at all but the Strawberry Daquiris were great!

I've posted already but wanted to respond to the Harrah's Comedy Club posting. I agree that we've seen some lousy acts there including one that the guy thought we should laugh because he swore every three words. We've also have seen many decent shows and, once in a while, a great show.

My first time ever in Las Vegas was with my parents, they wanted Wayne Newton and I wanted David Copperfield. They won out and I became a Wayne Newton fan. That was many many years ago though. He's still fit but lost the voice I hear, whereas, Tom Jones has the voice still, but the body is kind of shot. I preferred Lance Burton over Siegfried and Roy. He was a much better show and a much better value. Plus, he came out after his last show and mingled with the fans.
I had forgotton about the Luau at the Imperial Palace as being a terrible experience, until someone else brought it up. I could have saved the money and gone somewhere else much better food and entertainment wise. The whole thing was so hokey. I had been to one in Hawaii and I guess I should have realized that you can't do an authentic Luau in the desert, on a hotel rooftop. Howie Mandel was a big disappointment too. He was mildly funny. Every other word though was the "F" word. I just kept thinking, "And I paid good money to hear this." I hear people use this kind of language all the time, but they don't charge a ridiculous price to hear them. I'm not a prude by any means, I swear myself, I just expected so much more from him.

Going back many years, but my best show experiences were Tom Jones (at Ceasars) and Siegfield and Roy (at the old Frontier).
Worst show was Tony Orlando (without Dawn) at the Hilton. Groan... he never seemed to finish a complete song, and did much too much talking.

Bottoms Up was one of those shows that you either loved or hated, there was no middle ground. I was one of those that loved the show and became great friends with Breck Wall who was the star of the show along with being the original founder and writer of the show.
Breck tried two newer versions of the show after leaving the Flamingo but they didn't succeed.
The show still has the distinction of being the only topless afternoon show in Las Vegas history.

The absolutely BEST show for us which(alas) can never be back was LIBERACE at the MGM(now Ballys) many years ago.
The WORST was also many years ago; BILL COSBY at the Sahara - he sat in a chair all night and smoked his cigar and told old jokes that we had heard before.
More recently the best shows would have to be:
Gordie Brown (Golden Nugget show) - his Venetian show was good but not quite up to par(I've seen him 3 times)
Jay White (Neil Diamond tribute - we've seen him 2 times)
Spamalot
We also liked Clint Holmes and the Scintas and the Drifters, Platters, Coasters Show and Legends.
I enjoyed BMG with my son. He worked with their travelling show when they were in NOLA so that was a treat for him to see the show in Vegas.
I went to see the Producers and thought it was good - not outstanding, but good. Same for Tom Jones - but I saw Tom many years ago in concert and it was astounding.
Daughter and I really enjoyed Rita Rudner and she went to see Chippendales and really enjoyed it. She said it was a very classy show. Not just a bunch of almost naked guys bumping and grinding. Of course, SHE was mesmerized by the RED PIANO (I wasn't) and CELINE.
WORST SHOWS??? Can't think of any recent ones that were really bad. We weren't overwhelmed with Society of Seven. Hubby wasn't impressed with Jubilee, but I liked it.
Guess that's it. Everybody has their own likes and dislikes. There are others that we have seen - I can't remember all of them. Some shows I walked out feeling like I got my money's worth;some I didn't. But that's the way it goes sometimes.

Best:
Blue Man Group--each of the three times I've seen it
Worst:
George Carlin--he was sick that night and ranted instead of his usual
"poke-fun-at-them" comedy

 I have been going to Vegas for 15 years (next month), and every show I have seen has been good. Saw Celine last year - very good, and Stomp Out Loud - very good. Each year is a new surprise.
Good luck to all who venture into the casinos!

Haven't seen that many shows but loved Rita Rudner so she is at the top of my list.
None were really bad but at the bottom of my short list of shows is probably Zumanity.

I have many bests so I'll start with worsts:
Worst: has to be Viva Las Vegas at the Stratosphere. The acts were so bad it was embarrassing. The comedians were so unfunny that I didn't hear one laugh. The dancers were terrible (I could simply be critical because I was a dancer but I'm sure I'm not being overly critical). The choreography was awful and the dancers were completely out of time. I spent an hour or so frozen in a dingy showroom.
The other worst has to be the Gloria Estefan in Legends. I love Legends in Concert but the Gloria Estefan was out of tune, it was awful.
Best: These are in no particular order. I go with the majority who chose Mamma Mia. It was such good fun.
Phantom was phenomenal. The stage is amazing.
Rat Pack at the Greek Isles - I'm surprised no-one mentioned this. It is fantastic and well worth the money, despite being in the Greek Isles.
Mob Tour - okay more of a tour than a show and I'm probably biased because I'm fascinated with bygone Vegas.
Gordie Brown - I was in pain at some points of this show. When he described line dancing as **** on your shoe and stamping on a cockroach I was literally gasping for air!
Big Elvis - best free show on the Strip IMO
Legends - Matt Lewis as Elvis to be more precise.
I'm sure there are others that I've missed. Some were okay, ie George Wallace, but most have been fantastic.
The BEST that I've seen is Mystere. Still the greatest show I've ever seen. Saw LOVE and Spamalot last week and as good as they were they still can't top Mystere.
Worst-maybe Crazy Girls....My wife didn't enjoy it though I found it of interest.

Worst was easily Jubilee. I thought it was just me but afterwards the wife said she wished we had left early.
Best show (in the too high priced tickets category)- Elton John, Red Piano, Le Reve & Carrot Top
Best Free show- Big Elvis. Caught him on our last visit after reading about him here. Really enjoyed it while playing BlackJack. And dueling pianos at Harrahs was really a lot of fun.
Really want to see Rat Pack @ Greek Isles

Wow...hard to say what the best show was. These are all tied for first....
Celine Dion, Mystere, "O", and Danny Gans. Don't really have a worst, but I very much enjoyed Larry Jones, Rat Pack at Greek Isles, Big Elvis Show at Barbary Coast and Amazing Jonathan (even though most people would vote his as the worst show, I though it was funny).

[QUOTE=G-Alan;50886]Worst was easily Jubilee. I thought it was just me but afterwards the wife said she wished we had left early. QUOTE]
I thought Jubilee was certainly the most preposterous show I'd ever seen. A lip-synced, "everything but the kitchen sink", "topless for no good reason" mishmost of random ideas for musical numbers. (A real life version of that sitcom that Nickki Cox was in a few years ago where she was a dancer in a show set in a "low rent" Las Vegas casino.)

One of my favorite shows was "Smokey Joe's Cafe" with Gladys Knight at Caesars in the old showroom. Just a fun presentation with a lot of great old songs.
Some of the shows we've caught at the Improv at Harrah's and Comedy Club at the Tropicana probably rate as the worst.
Overall, I've pretty much enjoyed all the shows I've seen in Vegas.

best $$$$ - O
best $$$ - Gordie Brown (Rita Rudner was also excellent)
best $$ - Rat Pack (just saw them again last week - they're at the plaza now) and Louie Anderson (sides hurt for a day after!)
worst at any $$$$$$$$$$ - Tie: Amazing Jonathan / George Carlin (aka the morbid old sole - and that's being kind)

Best, hands down, was Mystere. Have seen all the other Cirque shows in LV (except LOVE) and Mystere just completely sucked me in- the music, action, costumes, and the incredible acrobatics simply blew me away!
Worst- Showgirls of Magic- What I remember of show was thinking, "OK, so the "theater" is a curtained off 40' X 50' section of casino, seating is $1.99 folding chairs, talent was better at my junior high talent show, and the "showgirls" amounted to a couple bimbos who seemed to have been pulled right off the Strip that afternoon. I paid how much for this???" Totally sucked!

WORST : Crazy Girls, saw it in March of this year, boring!!! the girls could not even dance.
Trent Carlini - not worth the price, acted like he did not even want to be there. Band and back up singers were better than him.
BEST: Viva Las Vegas at the Plaza, lots of fun for the price. The Rat Pack is Back, I loved it but my hubby fell asleep!
American Superstars at the Stratosphere.
Scintas - great family show, great entertainment value.

Best singer: Celine Dion - although I liked her concerts (before she went to Caesar's) better than the Dragone dancers/effects that made up her show;
Other Bests: Gordy Brown, Lance Burton, Sigfried and Roy, Lani Misalucha w/ SOS; Larry G. Jones was great for the price;
Honerable mentions/good for the price:
The Beatles tribute band at 4 Queens;
The magician that used to be at the Plaza hotel - he was really good. He guessed our son's middle name (not a common one) and my DH and I were astounded. My DS thought we told him in advance, but we didn't.
Popovich Pet theater show -- animals were cute and smart.
DH & DS like Blue Man Group; I was like eh--.
Worst:
Follies Bergere;
Scintas - the brothers did most of the singing (if you can call it that) and they tried to be funny, but I thought they were just cheesy. The sister only sang about 4 songs the whole night;
V - horrible and disjointed;
The cr*ppy TnA show that used to be at Harrah's for free to Diamond guests. I don't recall the name of it, but they made a Vegas Showgirls show on E entertainment channel based around the people in it. I liked the TV show because it showed the behind the scenes stuff, but the actual show itself was was pretty bad w/ topless girls (w/fake boobs) lip synching songs while simulating S&M stuff on stage. I'm not a prude at all. I would have preferred that they actually sing live at least. (At least we didn't pay for it!)

Here is the rundown from best to worst.
1) Crazy Horse - These girls are incredible. I didn't think I'd like this show because of the nudity but it was very high class and everyone (men and women) loved it. :D
2) KIA - It was lacking a clear storyline but it was visually amazing. I just don't get the whole alien rock and roll monsters in what seemed like a beautiful story about the survival of family and friends facing attack. :)
3) Blue Man Group - This is a good show, however, the high price makes it a complete rip off. It's totally worth paying $90 bucks to see - not $140 a ticket, sorry. :(
4) Mystere - This show put me to sleep. All the baby scenes were horrible and the old man walking in and out of the show gets old fast. I fell asleep and was mad that when I woke up the show wasn't over yet. Kids would enjoy this more than anything.
((I really cannot complain though since we got 50% off all the shows except the Blue Man Group. LOL.))

I'm not a huge show person, I would usually rather go eat at good restaurants and gamble, but I have been to more shows on my last few trips
LOVE LOVE LOVE Mamma Mia! I have seen it twice and would see it again
Also loved Spamalot
Did not like Mystere at all, I'm with Fountainrunner. I fell asleep. I guess that's just not my sort of thing
Seeing Gordy Brown and Jersey Boys in August, very excited for that.

We have seen a handful of shows from free to very pricey. Have enjoyed all of them in some form or another.
Best would have to be O. There really was not a worst though if I had to pick my least favorite it would be Zumanity.
Anything in Vegas bad or good is better than being at home working!!! :D

I would have to add WOHSCIGAM to the list as possibly the worst show I have ever seen or at least tie it with Tropical Passions.
I would have to add Toxic Audio to my favorites list right near the top.

the best...rita rudner :D
the worst..legends at imperial palace
Legends- depends on the acts. Last year, they had a choreographer that was so bad the dancers were doing Hip Hop to Elvis!
They've changed choreographers, and the shows have been better since Christmas. I just saw the May show, with Jay Leno as "host", Tina Turner (I've seen better), Tina Turner, Blues Brothers, the winner of a British Impersonators contest who was wonderful as Dusty Springfield, and of course, Matt Lewis as Elvis. The choreography was much more appropriate to the eras.
I still Love Rita Rudner (her act is now on DVD & plugged on PBS pledge nights) & Ronn Lucas, even tho he keeps moving around!

We can't think of any bad shows per se. But here's our list of shows we liked the best.
Mine: O, Rat Pack is Back, EFX (Tommy Tune), Blue Man Group (controlled chaos), Penn & Teller.
Wife: O, EFX (Tommy Tune), Rodney Dangerfield, Danny Gans, Ray Romano, Wayne Brady.
I don't like the Sirens of TI show. It's so contrived and bad, IMO.
I realize that not all of these are regular acts but you'll have to indulge us. :)
