Can we do this in booking hotel?

My husband received an email from one of the fancier hotels, offerring a good rate and resort credit. After booking one night, he noticed am email link of the offer that he could send to someone else. which he did: he sent it to me. I immediatelly booked the next night under my name for the special room rate & the resort credit Now my husband is afraid that only he will get the resort credit

Can this be correct? I did book under another credit card to avoid confusion

Has anyone had any experience with this type of situation? I'd really would like to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary in a classy hotel.

I can't see any problem with it so long as the terms and conditions on the booking don't say "limited to one per household". Just go along and enjoy it! :)
