My wife and I are going to be in Vegas this weekend, 15-19 Feb. Last time we were there we really enjoyed the seafood buffet at the Rio, and were looking forward to eating there again. Just found out through the Rio website that it's closed for remodelling until next month.

I know there are a few other buffets that advertise seafood, such as Flamingo and Orleans.

Anyone have a recommendation on the best place to go for seafood buffet, preferably that includes hot snow/king crab? (Never have understood that crab on ice thing, what's up with that?)

I was at the MGM Grand buffet last week and they served snow crab legs both iced and hot. Both very good. Buffet little pricey though $112.00 for for people and a $10.00 glass of merlot for the wife..

I also tried Planet Hollywood , they also served king crab legs but only the chilled variety. They do have a large selection of seafood.

Laways say go to a high end buffet and just do the fish/seafood.

With the Rio closed right now, I would just pony up and go to a sit down place.
Might try PH.
