New Vegas fan saying HELLO!

Hi there to all the Vegas fans in this forum! :)

I have been on here reading posts for a long time and decided to be brave and actually introduce myself and start some postings here about my favorite place to go on vacation. So here goes! :D

I'm from Delaware (yes it's actually a state, not a city) and I'm currently not employed but I am "normally" a substance abuse counselor. I started my obsession with Las Vegas a mere 7 years ago, although it seems like a lifetime. I have only been there 3 times, and my last visit was when I actually got married (2003) at the Stratosphere. Unfortunately, the marriage did not work out but my obsession with everything Las Vegas (no pun intended) has remained.

Right now I am currently dating someone who has only been to Vegas once many years ago and is looking forward to spending some time with me in Vegas. We're planning a trip at the end of April this year, and we're both totally excited about it.

I look forward to interacting and learning new things from you all, and hope I can lend some information, fun or whatever to everyone out there.

Glad you introduced yourself. I live in the state below you, in the process of moving to Chesapeake Beach (I can not wait till it is all done!). Every once in awhile we head up to Delaware to Dover Downs and I am looking forward to a trip to what used to be Midway, now Harrington Races and Slots since they have been remodeling, and of course AC. But nothing of course comes close to VEGAS! I hope you have a lenghty trip report to post on your trip, for those of us who have to experience through others for several more months ;) Best of luck and have a great trip!

Welcome to the forum LadySkinArt! You will see many changes in Vegas in the short time since 2003 but it will be fantastic to see your new partner's face when he sees it!
