Thinking on going to this show.Any recommendations on which section to be in? Goldstar offering tickets in the main level for $66.00 which normally go for $100 or mezzanine level for $49. Only thing is that the seats are not assigned till you pick them up at the box office. Does Goldstar get half decent seats for the price they offer?

'greasball'...GNH2000 has been on the main floor, I've always sat
in the upper Mez area. I've always had a great view/sound in my
choices, but next time I see it, I'm choosing the area that Gary had.
The visuals of the stage sets etc., are such....sitting further back for
MAMMA MIA isn't imortant, where as a CIRQUE or JUBILEE Show is.
Being closer to see the actors faces is lots of fun and enhances your
experience with a Show like MAMMA MIA.
If you use the discount, half price outfits.....it's up to you to get to the
Boxoffice around 2hrs. before showtime and get the 'best pick' of the
first come/first serve seats...YES there are very good seats available
for those folks who want them bad enough.

Enjoy the show. We found it one of the best around. Also learned that (at the time we visited LV) that there were about 6 gruops touring Mamma Mia around the workd.
We found the show and music to be excellent, especially the signature song "Dancing Queen." Toe tapping, very catchy music,
Enjoy!

As Greg said, the sound in that theater carries well and sitting further back is not a negative if that's your preference.
We were near the back of the lower section-sound was perfect there- I would sit closer next time to see the actors/actresses better.
(Just watch out for the crazy guy in the red sneakers dancing in the aisle to Dancing Queen!)

Saw this show back in Jan. - I wasn't too keen on going, but went along...glad I did - great show, fun time. We sat to the R of the stage pretty close up (7-8 rows back) - could see/hear very well.
Highly reccomended.
