Hello from Wisconsin

Hi,

This is my first post on this board. I post once in a while on another one.

A little about me. I LOVE Las Vegas and my husband hates it. So, I go there at least once per year with my girlfriends. I have been doing this for 23 years. I have stayed at many of the strip hotel/casinos and a few of of the downtown ones. I have stayed at a lot of hotel/casinos that are no longer in existence. At this point in my life I prefer to stay downtown.

Primarily I play BJ and VP but will occasionally throw a $20 into a penny slot. I really want to learn to play craps because it is such a social game.

I have two children and work as a loan officer at a small bank. I live in Wisconsin but it's only an hour from Minneapolis.

I LOVE the Minnesota Gophers. My husband, my daughter and I all graduated from the University of Minnesota and my son is currently a sophomore there. We bleed maroon and gold at our house. :)

Welcome to the Forum hanoscf! I have been a member of a few vegas boards over the last few years but found myself drifting from the others and now I only visit here - I honestly think it's the friendliest vegas board on the net!

I know what you mean about your team. I love Glasgow Rangers (soccer in the UK) and people think I'm strange when I say "cut me and I bleed blue" lol.... it's good to meet someone who understands the passion! :D

Welcome to ELV. This is a great site... very helpful. So where in WI do you live? We are in Prescott, located on the border of MN and WI about 25 miles southeast of St. Paul.

You really should try craps. Have you ever been to Turtle Lake Casino? They have craps there. It is fairly easy and the dealers will help you if you ask.

I live in St. Croix Falls. I have been to Prescott several times. In fact, my father lived there back in the late 40's.

I have been to Turtle Lake many times (too many times ;)) but have never played craps there. I don't think I'll make it there before my next trip to LV. I leave in 12 days! I can't wait.

Welcome hanoscf!..this is a great place to keep up on whats happening in Las Vegas. My wife grew up in Duluth!...not sure how far that is from you, but she knows the area pretty well. Hope to meet you one day at a members meet. '
