Help!! A close friend asked me to make the arrangements for his Groom's Dinner the night before his Vegas wedding in two weeks. As much as I would love to steer him towards one of the many excellent restaurants I've enjoyed over the years, he is on a fairly limited budget and therefore price was one of the main factors I had to take into consideration.
The two restaurants I've found that can handle a group of 20, still seem to offer some semblance of fine dining, and meet his budget are House of Lords at the Sahara and Sir Gallahad's Prime Rib at the Excalibur.
Please, if you have any expericnce at either of these places can you respond with your opinion or recommendations? Despite his limited budget, I want this to be a special night for him and his fiance and their family and friends, so any feedback would be appreciated!!

Sir Gallahad's Prime Rib at the Excalibur is probably the least expensive of the two and has been the subject of some very positive posts in the Forums.
Embers at the Imperial Palace is a reasonably priced reasonably and you might want to contact my friend Bob Cohen at the IP for some help with who you can contact about the dinner.
I also recommend Al Dente at Bally's. Just call and ask for IIario Pescol and tell him you are a newsletter member and see what he can do for you. Also mention me by name.
If you looked off the Strip, you might find some very inexpensive places. You didn't mention your friends budget so I don't know what to recommend to you.

Check into Cortez Room at Gold Coast. A nice room with entrees under $30 including Salad and Potato. Kind of an "OLD VEGAS" feel.

Please send me your email address. The Food and Beverage Director at Bally's would like to speak to you regarding your dinner request.

We've always had great meals at the "House of Lords" but they may be the more expensive of the two.

We eat at Sir Galahad's every visit. They have a small room with glass walls to accomodate small groups and I believe if you call in advance you can make any special arrangements you need and can discuss price with them.
