Check out the Wynn Sports Book. Nice atmosphere, and lots of big screen TVs.
From what I hear, it has become a favorite for the more upscale locals as well as LV visitors.

All posts so far have been dead on!

The Hilton is the friendliest and has the most props. (The IP may still have a lot of props also)

Wynn has a great bar/restaurant area and is very classy.

On Sundays, the IP opens the Legends In Concert Showroom at view the football game. They have refreshments and cocktail service. The TV'S are small but the crowd is fun.

Haven't checked out the new Sportsbook at MGM but have heard good things about it.

Love the Mirage sportsbook, the monitors are really nice and I like their odds boards.

Worst is Golden Nugget. I love the hotel but it's a lousy place to watch a game.

In addition to the previous posts, try the Venetian. They have a huge TV for the Monday night game, lots of medium-large ones for the Sunday games, and very comfortable chairs.

There are also very attentive and attractive cocktail waitresses to help celebrate the great bets and forget the ones that seemed great at the time.

It's just a really comfortable place to relax and enjoy a game.

The problem with sports books is that casinos don't particularly like guys sitting around watching television, drinking beer and hollering at the screen unless they're also dropping money continually into a slot machine or betting on races every four or five minutes. . . . . The Hilton has by far the best and the most screens, and the hooping and hollering atmosphere is outstanding, but the seating for the football only spectators is about ten rows of chairs ten or twelve wide. It packs up by 9 on pro days, and 10 on college days. You can see the action from the race book booths, but they like you to also be betting trifectas in those seats. There are seats for the rows of slots in the rear of the book, and they also give a great view, but you better be plugging the machine or the nice dude in the brown polyester with the gun will tell you to move on. Same for the Mirage, but with more seats and more interference from the casino. Stardust looks like the Hilton, only smaller, and it has the same great atmosphere. MGM separates the race and sports book, and the sports book looks more like a bar, so it's probably more like home than the others. The Nugget is also like a bar, with round tables and nice chairs, but there's only about 12 seats and two or three large screens (with one probably stuck on racing, even on football days), so you better want to watch what the casino wants to watch . . .NYNY is the absolute worst, with a 100 foot video wall rising up from rows of chairs directly beneath it and going back about 20 feet. It looks like the crown is watching a jumper on the Staten Island bridge.

I wouldn't go to any of those fancier places . . . . Football is best watched where Elvis played out his last years or where the Rat Pack sang and ran. . . . For the best is Las Vegas football watching, go to the Stardust or the Hilton.

Have to agree with WildPitcher - always stayed at the Venetian and have never had any issues with them being upset if not betting constantly - in fact the only thing that is constant is the friendly servers coming around asking if you need anything. We bet the ponies but when there in January 2004 to watch Pats beat the Titans in the playoffs, we only watched the game for three hours and the drinks were coming just as quickly as when we were gambling. Same thing in April 2005 when we were there for several days to enjoy the Red Sox verus the Yankees games. I find the Venetian Sports Book to place to enjoy a game. Just go to the Tropicana and Imperial Palace and see what they have to offer and then go to Venetian and you will never leave.

Good Luck
