Best Parking place Downtown

We plan to be downtown for the afternoon and into the evening one day when we go in a couple weeks, where is the best place to park, is there free parking, valet parking etc. Thanks! :)

I've only used the self parking. I've found that most seem to charge for it unless you are a hotel guest or you get your parking "validated" at the casino.

I've parked a couple of times at Las Vegas Club. You enter off Ogden street, which is the one just north of Fremont. I take the parking ticket to the casino and play a little black jack and get the pit boss to validate it. It gives you 4 hours free parking, but they don't seem to care if you go over. I've also used Binion's and the Gold Spike.

Once I gamble a bit and get validated, I move around to other downtown locations.

I suppose they all have valet parking, but I've not tried it.

Last time I valet parked at The Four Queens. I would definitely use valet at one of the hotels. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but there was a casino parking lot robbery resulting in a fatal shooting last month ( not downtown ) and there have been others. It's not worth the risk to self park. I am a part time resident of LV and you only see these stories on the local news. I'm sure that when you look at percentages of the number of people in the area on any given day and the very few times that this has happened your risk for something like that is very low, but still not worth it.

I always self park at the Golden Nugget. It's easy to get in and out an it's is free ( I believe for 4 hours)if you get your parking ticket validated at the casino cage. All you have to do is get your parking ticket time punched. You can do this yourself and do not have to gamble there if you do not want to. All you have to do is walk through their casino to get your parking ticket validated/time stamped. I 've done it everytime I have gone downtown

Go valet your car at the Golden Gate. They offer "free parking" with validation. You can validate your ticket yourself right at the Cashier's cage. Since it is a small property, it is easy to get in and out of their lot and much quicker than any of the other downtown properties.

Very small casino and easy in and out. And get your 99 cent shimp cocktail on the way in.

We Have Been Going To Vegas For 11 Yrs Now, And Have Always Rented A Car. We Have Found The Best,and Easiest Parking Garage To Get In And Out Of Is At Main Street Station. You Can Self Park In Their Garage, And You Don't Have To Get Anything Validated.

Golden Gate is the absolute BEST !! The Boys that work the Lot are awesome, they always remember you once you have parked there, and totally appreciate the tips!! They are top of the line in our opinion!!:) :) :)

Just got back from Vegas last week. Made two trips downtown, parked at Golden Gate. Fast and friendly service. Small casino to go through to get to Fremont St. and easy access to Main St when you are leaving.
