Las Vegas Club

I am considering staying a few nights at the Las Vegas Club Downtown. Has anyone stayed there and are their rooms clean? Do they have a shower/tub units or just a shower? Would you stay there again?? Thanks for your help.

HI - I generally am of the opinion that it's okay to stay realtively cheap in Las Vegas and use the money saved on your hotel for food/drink/gambling/etc...as long as the room is not a total pit and the hotel feels safe I'm okay at some of the older or not so fancy hotels.

That being said - I had a room reserved for 1 night at the Las Vegas Club this June and I thought the room was so gross that almost checked out so I wouldn't have to sleep in the bed!! I had a reservation for the next 4 nights at the Sahara and only booked the LVC for the 1st night because it was a Saturday night and everything on the Strip was sold out. I would NEVER stay there again. I thought the room was filthy - I didn't want to take my shoes off and touch the carpet. I can't remember if there was a tub or just a shower because I didn't spend much time in the room by choice. If you want to stay cheap downtown try the Four Queens or Fitzgerald's. The Plaza is owned by the same people as Las Vegas Club so I doubt it's much better.

I've not stayed at the hotel.

The gambling is nice there, though. Good double deck blackjack and $5 minimums. Friendly staff.
