I've never been to the Planet Hollywood (saw it as the Alladin, but that was a while ago), but hope to get there in December, when we will visit. Show I've always wanted to see is Cirque show Love- too expensive. Resturant- the one at the top of the eiffle tower at the Paris.

I'd love to stay in a suite at the Bellagio and/or Wynn. Dinner? At the Eiffel Tower......will never happen as my husband is deathly afraid of heights. Shows?? We/ve seen "O", Love, and Mystere. I don't see how any show could top those.

I would like to have dinner at Envy:The Steakhouse

And I would love to see Ka as it's the only Cirque show I have not seen.

I'd like to

1) Stay at Caesars overlooking the Strip

2) see either O or Blue Man Group

3) since we're not into fancy meals, I'd have to select a steak dinner delivered by room service. Oh and to have it comped by the casino!!!!

Hotel: I was thinking Bellagio or Wynn until I saw Steve's post about the Hi-roller village at the Rio. Now that would be heaven on earth.

Dinner: For the experience - Top of the World at the Strat at sundown

Show: Love which I plan to see in March. Now if Cher ever gets herself a gig in town, I'll be there every chance I get. (Even if she lip-syncs it.LOL)

We have been very fortunate to stay at most of the new hotels, but I guess staying at the Four Seasons or the Sky Lofts would be pretty special.
The restaurant we would love to eat is Bartolotta at the Wynn, on the Lake, in a Cabana! The coolest setting for dinner in Las Vegas.
Bette Midler has to be the best choice for a must see show in Las Vegas or anywhere...she is entertainment personified!

Eat at the Wynn Buffett (without the diet)..
See Crazy Girls (since I'm staying at Hooters without the wife and really full) : )

but in real life:
Stay at THE Hotel and see LOVE and eat at Hawaiian Tropic Zone..

I don't know that I'd like to stay there, but I would like to check out Hard Rock. I'd like to eat at Ellis Island since I've heard so much about it through here. And as for shows, I've pretty much seen everyone I care to so far.

For those who mentioned Rita Rudner, she was great when I saw her years ago. I laughed so hard, and so did the MEN in the audience. For those who want to go to the Eiffel Tower, I suggest you bring lots of money and make sure you're dressed appropriately. There was a snooty woman at the desk by the elevator to the tower, who literally looked me up and down to make sure I was suitably attired for it before she would let me up. I had checked out their dress code prior to leaving home because I suspected they would have one. I only went there to use a $25.00 gift certificate I had for a while. I had one drink, it was $11.00. And that was for Orange juice and Kahlua, and I had an individual souffle (egg whites) that was about 3 bites and cost $15.00. And then there was the tip to boot. My $25.00 certificate ended up costing a bit more.

Once the Center City building work is over I'd like to stay at Bellagio. I'd like to see "O" at Bellagio too.

I've heard great things about the Steak House at Circus Circus and despite having a fiancée who is vegan, I'd like to try it just once.

My one experience of upscale dining was at Isis in the Luxor about 10 years ago and I really was impressed - just a pity the maitre d' wasn't empowered to ask the drunk highroller to keep it down or take a hike.

where i stay or what i eat does not matter to me. the one "must have" for me is something iv'e already done so it goes against the thread but... i wish thay would bring back the blimp rides!! that was probably the coolest thing i ever did in vegas and i would do it every trip if given the chance.

I'd love a suite with a fountain view at Bellagio. I'd like to see Debbie Reynolds (I am never in the country when she's playing Vegas) and I'd like to eat at Joel Robuchon at the Mansion...somewhere so expensive I'd never go in real life!

I would definitely want to stay in the Villa Suites at the Bellagio. I read about them in last month's Vegas Magazine. $5,000 per night, with all those fabulous amenities such as a 24 hour butler and it's very own massage room, beauty salon, full kitchen and private entrance. I would never leave. I'm seriously thinking of saving up for a couple of years just to do that for a few days. A once in a lifetime indulgence. Either the gambling gods or the stock market gods (maybe they're the same, no?) need to start showing me some love for that to happen.

Restaurant would be Picasso.

Show would be Bette Midler.

Now, every year we go to Vegas, we pick one or two things "we always wanted to do" but never found the time or wanted to spend the money as in previous years.

It has worked out great for us. For example: I always wanted to see Paul Anka in concert (thanks MGM), see "Love" at the Mirage, see Wayne Newton before he retired, for a few things. Well we have done these (finally) but over a few years and I couldn't be happier paying full price for some of these shows because we "always" wanted to do them! Unless you make the time or spend the money you never will. For example-I always wanted to go the Elvis Museum on Industrial Road. Never got there and now I hear it is closed!

I find that going to Vegas and seeing one show per trip makes the trip special. We have gone to Vegas for years but never saw one of the Cirque de Soliel shows and every time we left to go home, we "wished"...well this last October we not only saw "Love" we saw "KA" and came away with another part of this Vegas entertainment as a fond memory. I would spend full price to see "Love" again with no hesitation (but only in the balcony seating-great view).

Out of all the things we have done in Vegas, we have never seen the Volcano show at the Mirage-believe it or not!! That is one thing I would like to do the next time we are there. As far as a casino-I would like to stay at the Wynn and try their buffet.

Just my 2 cents worth!

I can vouch for The Steakhouse at Circus Circus. Have been there twice and would highly recommend it. It is quite affordable.:)

My three picks in Vegas:

:)Stay in a suite at Red Rock.

:DTry again for the Sterling Brunch at Bally's. We made reservations two years ago, but when we got there there was a long line. When I said that we had reservations, we were told that was the reservation line. So we left.

;)Celine Dion. I heard that there is chance she may sign another contract down the road.

Given that this is a fantasy thread, my choices would be

Stay at Hi-roller room at Bellagio, Skyloft at MGM (or the Mansion), Hi-roller suite at Caesars
Eat at the Dome at the Plaza (overlooking Fremont St., its now a bar), at SW (in Wynn, I've done this, but want to sit outside overlooking the Lake of Dreams)
See Elvis

:D
