If you are looking for great meal, great price, and lots of food...The Grand Lux Cafe can't be beat. Easy to find in the casino level. If you have a Cheesecake Factory in your area you'll know what to expect. Some folks order one meal and share, especially since its not convenient for most tourists to take a doggie bag back to a hotel room. They have a huge menu, and wine list and deserts to die for (if you have room). Check it out, after all the Venetian's Great Hall,Canal Shoppes, and St Marks Square are must sees anyway.
I will have to agree. I have dined at the Grand Lux both here in Chicago and in Las Vegas. It is great food, huge portions, and reasonable prices.

We had a wonderful breakfast there. Great coffee too - even the decaf! And excellent service.

I post this knowing full well every single person loves this place, but I did have a bad experience there. Walked in about 10:30pm and there was a large spill by the podium where they greet you. Nobody was attending to the spill but there were paper towels over the spill so they obviously knew about it. Once seated it took a very long time for the waiter to even greet us. Ordered a hamburger, got it medium well and it was literally cold in the middle. We expressed our displeasure and wasn't even offered a new meal! Literally he asked if I would like my 1/2 eaten hamburger with sauce on it cooked longer... It was downright strange!

Sorry To Hear About Your Bad Experience Jalpert. I Just Ate There Again On 10/07 And It Was Wonderful. Guess Every Restaurant Screws Up From Time To Time.

We tried the Grand Lux on 10-19-05 at 7:30 p.m. Party of 2. It took about 5minutes to be seated, (not bad) since we didn't have reservations. The hostess seated us in a section where we were the only diners, she provided us menus, I was pleased with the variety of items offered plus a very nice wine list. 15 minutes later they had seated other diners in the section, brought them water and some had even ordered drinks, but no server had even looked at us. I looked us over, (nope we were dressed nicer than most in our area) no obvious reason we were being ignored. Finally my husband got fed up and approched the hostess who was flirting with a waiter, it turned out that he was our waiter, just hadn't had time to get to our table yet. That excuse didn't sit to well with my hubby! The love struck waiter did come right over and take our orders. The food and drinks were provided quickly. I think he bumped our orders in front of others to make up for our wait. The food was wonderful and I did enjoy a glass of wine. The wine may have improved my review??
All in all, we did enjoy the meal. The service could have been better on the waiters part, but everyone else did a wonderful job!
