Neil Diamond

Neil is currently on a US tour (LA last nite), wrapping up a world tour. At one point a couple of months ago, rumors were afloat that he may end his US tour over New Years Eve for 2 -3 nites in Las Vegas.
Does anyone have any more specific information about Neil Diamond in Las Vegas over NYE in about 3 months?
Last time he performed in LV, he was at the MGM Arena.

P.S.: Just checked the MGM Grand web-site. No indication of a booking for Neil.

Closest thing I have heard about is Jay White, Neil Diamond impersonator at the Riviera. He is very good but the venue stinks(very small) and his band is not good. If he had a better place to play and a good band, he would be one of the best acts in town.

If Neil Diamond does come to Vegas, his tickets will be sky high. Higher than Celine or Elton.

Yes, we've seen Jay at the Riviera, and found his show very enjoyable. He is very talented and personable. He's also played at the Circus Circus in Reno.
Hoping to see the real Neil soon, though.
