We have been going to Vegas for the past 15 years. Real regulars for the past 10. We've eaten in the good, the bad and the ugly but the best of them all for us is Sir Galahad's in the Excalibur Hotel. Now you better like Prime Rib or this is definitely not the place for you.
Room is on second floor and the entrance does not show you what is inside. Once seated you are in a different world. No clanging machines, no flashing lights just a peaceful atmosphere. You are greeted almost immediately and are offered a libation. Your server arrives with fresh hot rolls and takes your dinner order.
We always have an appetizer which has always been top notch. A unique salad follows and is tossed at your table. Your table is cleared and this large rolling cart is brought to your table. There a chef personally cuts your beef and adds the homemade mashed potatoes and creamed spinach along with a serving of Yorkshire Pudding.
The beef is absolutely wonderful. Mouth watering and tender as can be.
Service is very attentive but not bothersome.
Price is very reasonable for what you are ordering. $20.00 - $25.00 per person.
We can't reccomend this enough for Prime Rib lovers.

I love Prime Rib and I will try it.

A nice creamy horseradish sauce to go with that?

Good wines?

I agree about Sir Galahad's. It has been our favorite for yrs. for prime rib. I love their house dressing. I always have to ask them to please leave the salad bowl because I can never get enough. I always get the smallest cut which is 3 smaller slices and I can never get past the prime rib and the salad to the creamed spinach, potato, & yorkshire pudding. Wonderful place. What also is very nice is that you don't have to play alot at the Ex to get a comp here. :D

anyone who enjoys prime rib (with a side of adventure) should try roberta's at the el cortez. not one of the top hotels downtown and a bit off the beaten path, el cortez tends to cater to a different crowd. however, roberta's serves up the best value in prime rib i've had anywhere in and around the valley. a generous, bone-in cut with soup or salad, potato AND vegetable is only $15.95. similarly, steaks are also a great value. 1" + new yorks are $17.95. you can't beat the prices at roberta's and the service is attentive and most nights you can hear the piano player from the lounge just outside roberta's door. one of my favorite local dining treat.

Now I'm not saying it's the best but the Prime Rib at the Circus Circus Steakhouse is by far the largest cut of prime rib in Las Vegas. My Mom ordered the Queen Cut and I swear it was 3 inches high and covered her entire plate. Four people could have shared it.
