Hi All.
We've been to Laughlin a couple times, but have never stayed there til now. Will be a Harrahs next month, and wondered if anyone has recommendations on things to do and see, and where to play.
Thanks.

one of the nicest spots in laughlin is the cocktail lounge on the second floor of the riverside. floor to ceiling windows that overlook the river. happy hour with half-price drinks and appetizers--you can make a dinner of it while watching the sunset over the mountains. or, if you're inclined, move from the lounge into the next room, the steakhouse. great steaks, excellent service. we go to laughlin especially to visit that spot. lots of people say river palms has the best (loosest) gaming in laughlin. but wherever you play, luck is a factor.
enjoy. andrea from las vegas

Our experiencce in Laughlin is that it's even hotter in the summer than Las Vegas.
Suggestion is to go there in the fall/winter and spring. Avoid the hot summers.
..as you probably know from your previous visits.
That being said, Harrah's has a nice Steakhouse, and there seems to be a variety of shows. Try visitlaughlin.com for an updated list.
There is a small outlet mall close by Ramada Express. Ramada Express has a small scale train ride around the property, and also a tribute to veterans.
There are boat trips on the Colorado River, and Harrah's has a sandy beach.
I like to play in all the casinos, actually, so can't help you there.
Have fun, and do a TR for us!
