Anyone who is a Beatle fan who has not seen this show...well, it is great!
You will be singing along, tapping your feet, and giggling at how you remember each and every word to each and every song.....I just wish they would do something about the showroom!

Whats wrong with the showroom?

GREGRIO
09-26-2005, 08:27 PM
...it's small. It's the same theatre you see "X" and 'V'The Ultimate Variety Show. Small chairs, small tables, but the sound is good, all the seats are
good, and it's kinda has a small club feel, but there's nothing 'wrong' with the place...it's just on the small side.

In many ways I like it better than the LVHilton where they were....
The guy on the phone I talked to said he had them thru Dec. The reason
they left awhile ago (I thought) was to find a larger home but.........
The early show gives you time to book a second show for later or have late dinner or......what I like to do is, walk nextdoor to PARIS and see WWRY! The timing works out perfect. Then I go across the street and have a late bite in Bellagio's Conservatory of Flowers' Cafe....it's ALL right there.

I love the Beatles. I might try to see this next week. GregRio, is it reserved seating, or maitre d' seating?

GREGRIO

It's a small cabaret type room Mare...The VIP tix sets you up front, the
other seats are at small tables throughout the room.
I would imagine if you sat in the back of the room it wouldn't be too neat...
you could hear fine, but the fun is watching these guys...they look
very much like 'the boys' and I like mid-room to VIP (done both) prefer VIP these days...

TIX4TONIGHT has their half price tix...VTheatre is 702.932.7272 (your dime)
I've always called the Theatre and got 'em in advance. I've seen it 6,7,?
times and just love it. The early showtime (6:00) leaves lots of time for
dinner after or another Show. $49. or $59.VIP...........I know these prices are
different from the ones I posted at the top of this thread...don't know, these
are the ones in my most currant 24/7 magazine, might be best to give 'em a call.

I did post this info in a recent newsletter. I agree this is a great show and the theater is way too confining.

Here is a review Eileen and I wrote about the show:

The Fab Four at the "V" Theater:
Steve Speaking:
Another great show. This tribute band had the place rocking with dead-on vocal impersonations of The Beatles. They were very close visually also. The show was divided into three phases of The Beatles musical time frame. Phase one was the Early Beatles, phase two was the Sgt. Peppers/White Album/Abbey Road period and phase 3 was the Let it Be period. All songs were sung "natural" without any musical enhancements. The highlight for me was the solo John Lennon song "Imagine." Although technically it's not a Beatles song, it brought tears to my eyes as I was a big John Lennon fan. (The last thing that brought tears to my eyes in Las Vegas was when I found out the Imperial Palace canceled the daily slot tournament.) The show ended with Hey Jude with the entire audience on their feet. The group is going on tour as I write this review. Hopefully, the Fab Four will find their way back to Las Vegas.

Eileen speaking:
I saw this show with the kids in July at the Hilton. I enjoyed it then and I enjoyed it this time. But I enjoyed it better at the Hilton. I don't like this "V" theater.

Thanks for the information. I found a 2for1 coupon at Vegas4locas.com, so if I decide to go, I'll check on getting tickets when I get there.

I missed them while in Vegas over Christmas. However, I think they might be coming to Oregon. Perhaps Greg could take a look at this link and let me know if you think it is the same Fab Four. I would think it is, but not sure. Thanks.

That doesn't look like 'em Kurt. I can't tell much from the pic...if it is
it's an OLD pic...don't think they could use the same name though...???
I talked to the VTheatre the other day...heard they might be taking a
break to do some off site gigs, but the gal didn't say anything...she said
they would be there.
I've seen them with 2 Georges' and 2 Ringos'.....Paul and John are always
there. One of the Georges' is a dead ringer for a young Harrison, Paul and
John are very close also. This website has the not so Ringo and George...
www.fabfour.com
'click' on LINKS down there on the bottom bar.....the black and white pic is the
way I usually see them as...

Thank you Greg. For the price, I think I'll go ahead and make reservations for my wife and I. If it isn't them, at least it's a night out. :)

At the risk of repeating myself<G>, this is a great show!!
GregRio is right on, one of the "Georges" is a dead ringer! If you have seen "A Concert for George" and noticed how much George's son looks like his dad, this guy in Fab Four looks like a relative. The music is really wonderful! Enjoy!:p

to Fab Four AGAIN! check your PM

This is a very good show. If you've ever wanted to experience "Beatlemania" this is for you.

I first encountered this group in 2004 when they performed in the ALS (amotroyphic lateral sclerosis-Lou Gerhrig's Disease) Benefit at the V Theater in the Aladdin.

The way the audience reacted to them, screaming, clapping, standing and dancing, it was so reminisicent of the original Beatlemania, (I was just a wee one at the time, but I do remember it well) it was just great! These guys look, dress, act and sound like the real thing.

Definately a good show...it's like turning back the hands of time and experiencing the Beatles all over again. Good for the younger folks too, lets them see and hear what the Beatles and their music were all about.

Yeah Yeah Yeah

We are heading back out to Vegas in June and hopefully they will still be there when we arrive. I printed out a two for one coupon but there are no dates anywhere on it so have no idea if they will still be there in June but we will go to the show if they are.

All the information on this forum really helps to plan each and every Vegas Trip. ;)

Thanks

1.702.932.1818 and keep in touch with what 'the boys' are doing.

I saw the Fab Four at the Hilton a year and a half ago - my daughter loved it! But I don't think I would go see them at that V Theater. It's an uncomfortable, seats-squished-together theater. When we went to see "V" there, we had to stand up in the back to see everything. That theater is awful.

Theatre/Cabaret...WHATEVER, and YES it is small.
Kinda neat though...it's small, you're up close to the 'boys' like in
a small Club.
YES AGAIN...the seats are smaller than the theatre-style seats you'll
find in a REAL theatre, but my butt made it through the Show OK......
The trick to not ending up in the back of the room is to get the VIP or
book in advance when you'll get placed center to front or if you choose
to purchase one of the half price vouchers...get there early enough to
get one of the better 'first come/first serve' seats.

Too bad 'The Ultimate Variety Show' is in VTheatre...it's just the wrong
type of room for that type of Show.
