IP Luau help

On my cruise to Hawaii the captain decided that we could not land in Maui where I was scheduled to go to a luau.:(

Is the IP Luau comparable to those in Hawaii or should I wait until my next trip to the Islands for a Luau?

WAIT!
I have NEVER heard anything positive in re. to the IP's Luau.
The food, the drink, all cheap tourist trap crap...far from
anything authentic.
Over the years, the local Hawaiian population has grown alot.
The entertainment the IP provides I've heard is pretty good, but
again, it's a pretty small, simple, tourist targeted show and doesn't
represent the true flavor of the Hawaiian sprit you'd find in the islands.
It can be real hot...not alot of shade, and...lol, avoid a lot of the
Fruit Punch or suffer the consequences...hangover BIG TIME.
