Hi!

I thought I'd post a brief intro about myself. My name is Amanda and like everyone else here, I love Las Vegas! I've been married for 8 years as of this June, and have two crazy kitties. We've been to Vegas 4 times, and will be going back in a few weeks. Woohoo!

Hubby is doing Ironman Arizona on April 15th, and on the 16th we're driving up to Vegas for the week. We have reservations to eat at Prime, and we're going to see O and Phantom. We'll probably catch a few inexpensive shows with some 2for1 coupons.

This looks like a great place so I look forward to hanging out here. :D

We're staying at the IP. I really don't want to, but it's the only strip hotel that isn't outrageously priced that week...thanks to the broadcasters convention. My MIL is going with us and she's never been so I at least wanted to make sure we stayed on the strip for her. I was really hoping to get into a fancier place, but oh well. Next time!

Welcome:) . The Phantom was one of the best shows we've seen in Las Vegas and we also enjoyed "O" very much. Don't think you'll be disappointed. Lots of nice people here with a load of information.

Welcome Amanda! I'm sure you will find this to be one of the friendliest and most helpful LV boards on the net... I hope you post a TR on your return from Vegas and let us know how it was! :)

Hello and welcome. We hope you enjoy Vegas as much as we all do. For your convenience ther is a shuttle next to the IP at Harrah's that will take you to the Rio for free, just in case you get tired of the stip, Rio is very Vegas with a very entertaining free show.

Thanks for the tip about the Rio. We've been there before, and in 2001 we stopped by and they had a nickle slot machine where you could win jewelry. I actually won a diamond ring! I've tried to find it since, but it's no longer there. :(
