Is Monte Carlo's Pool crowded?

And does anyone know if they check room keys at the pool? I am considering booking here for a couple of nights strictly for the pool and location, but I am concerned about overcrowding...Please help if you have any info...Thanks! :)

I booked already. FYI, for anyone else who might care, I called and they said yes they do check room keys at the pool and crowded pool conditions (obviously) depend on time of year and date of stay. Thanks for all your help...
