I'm going to Vegas next Friday for a week. I'll be staying at Caesars for the 1st time ever on sun.-mon.-tues. Has anyone of you stayed there, and if so, what is the best tower? I'd like to be close to the pool and/or the casino, if possible. Any advice? Thanks.

The new tower that just opened in August is absolutely beautiful. 600 sq ft
large bath with jet tub and double sinks, great shower. The room itself has a fully stocked refrigerator bar (snacks, water, soda, alcohol). Large flat screened tv and smaller one in the bathroom. Couch, chairs, tables, etc. The bed linen is beautiful, really makes you feel special.
If you can get an upper floor on the side of Bellagio the view is fantastic. I think it is easier to get to the casino floor from this tower.
The other tower is also beautiful. If you can get what they call a mini-suite you get two bathrooms sharing the shower, large jet tub and double sinks in one bath and a single sink in the other. These rooms as well as the regular rooms in this tower have refrigerators, irons, ironing boards, hair dryers. The view of Bellagio could be blocked by the new tower. A bit further to walk getting to the casino floor. Either way, whatever you choose, you will love staying here. Both towers are accessible to the pools. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the tip. I have read some unfavorable reviews on the 3 older towers. Especially the Centurian tower. I just hope I can get into one of the newer towers. I will certainly ask. I booked the room a couple of months ago on a snail mail offer I got for $89 a night. (great price) This makes me wonder if they will stick me in one the older towers.

The Centurian Towers do have some rooms that IMHO need updating. But for me, the saving grace for staying in that tower is location, location, location. That tower is close to the slot machines that I like, Neros (great steak place), and close to the front entrance for leaving for the airport in a hurry. :D One thing about Caesars is that their rooms are not products of cookie cutters. I have stayed there many, many times and it's not always the same type of room. My guess is that the new tower would be outstanding. The Palace Tower is very nice too, and it's right by the pool entrance. But, for me, it's further away from everywhere I want to be. LOL

I'm staying there next week on a Casino rate - I called to try and get in to the new AugustusTower and was given a different rate; she then suggested that I request it upon check-in; if available they will upgrade - sometimes comp'd, sometimes $50. -$100. per night...bat your eyelashes and be nice.

We stayed in the Forum Towers in June and the room was great. It was different having the shower/spa tub in the room instead of the bath area, but we loved it. We had excellent service from all of the staff and it was right at the time of the Harrah's buyout. We had a king non smoking room and we were staying on a great room offer. You need to try the great restaurant out front by the street. It was highly recommended to us by our front desk clerk at checkin. The towers were so easy to great machines, tables and the best shopping. So we would gladly ask for the Forum Towers again.

I stayed at Caesars about 10 years ago and I thought the rooms were beautiful then, especially the bathrooms. I guess compared to the new towers, the old ones would'nt be so nice, but they are closer to the casino and entrances and I'm sure they keep it clean.
