Has one seen the new "Buck Wild" show at the Sahara? I bought two tickets online and was curious what other peoples review is of the show.
Thanks in advance

Awww...you must be a gambler huh!
Buy your tickets first, then ask about the show...LOL
I've heard the name, but haven't a clue what it's about...sorry.

I saw the show about a week ago. It's a country variety show. The music is country, but not hardcore...more like country pop. These boots are made for walking, Devil went down to Georgia, that kind of stuff.
It started slowly, but seemed to get better and better. It's topless, but not relentlessly. The host is an excellent singer. There were ok dance numbers and some corny comedy. There was a very good fiddler, but the highlight of the show was an unbelieveable 12 year old harmonica player. All I could think of was Wayne Newton as a child. If you've ever heard a rock lead guitarist wail out on a solo then you have an idea of what this kid can do with a harmonica. They said he's already appeared with Alicia Keys, Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder. This kid was absolutely unbelieveable! We're going to hear so much more from him. He alone was worth the price of admission (though I paid half price at the Coca Cola tickets booth).
All in all, I was glad to have gone to the show. Attendance was rather light, but I liked the show and I'm not a big country fan. I kind of like some of the more modern country.
I guess I'd give it 3-3.5 out of 5 stars.

Here is a review of the show:
It's the best country music, dancing, and comedy this side of Nashville. Buck Wild! is the hip new variety show performed live on stage in the Sahara Theater. Our ensemble cast features T.J. Weaver as the singing host, with appearances by 11-year-old harmonica prodigy L.D. Miller, redneck magician Nathan Burton, fiddler extraordinaire Russ Hendricks, the "Buck Wild Boys" band, and the funniest Dolly Parton & Kenny Rogers act you've ever seen with Tiny Bubbles and Antonio Hoyos. Individual acts change from time to time, but it's always modern country music with a rock & roll feel.
WARNING: Buck Wild! features PARTIAL NUDITY. All performances feature something you'll never see in Branson: TOPLESS cowgirls! Only adults 18 and older will be admitted. Showtimes are 9 p.m. every night except Sundays, with an additional early show at 7 p.m. Saturdays only.
Buck Wild! features plenty of singing and dancing, Hee Haw comedy skits, and the famous souped-up '69 Dodge Charger from Dukes of Hazzard. "Hood sliding on the General Lee" takes on new meaning as this car gets washed every night by the sexy girls of Buck Wild! (Remember those "daisy dukes"?)
Our mechanical bull gets a real workout as the girls of Buck Wild! demonstrate how to ride with style. Beautiful performers Tamara Kelly and Annika Starander sing your favorite hit songs with a down-home flavor that only country girls can.
Prices start at $49.95 plus tax and fees for seating Levels 1 & 2. VIP tickets include premium seating, line pass, and an official Buck Wild! T-shirt. Tickets are available at the Sahara Hotel and Casino box office.

Thought the show was okay. Started slow but got better. The kid on the harmonica was great---we also had the same thought about a young Wayne Newton. If you like country music you will probably enjoy this show.

We didn't see the show, but I did notice that the 1/2 price ticket place across from the stardust had 1/2 price tickets available every day we were there. In fact they also had 1/2 price tickets for Wayne newton, legends and others regularly. If your interested in the show you may want to check them out.
