:) My husband and I are staying at the Hilton in October. Having been to las vegas a number of times, we have found the hilton to be the friendliest hotel and casino. we have never stayed there and wonder what everyone thinks about the accommodations. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks

i have stayed there twice and enjoyed both of my stays tho the north tower was quite sparse and disappointing. i stayed in the center tower the 2nd time and found it quite nice.

they have a small but nice buffet as plenty of other nice eating places.

i especially like staying there sinse the monorail is up and going so access to the strip is easy without renting a car or taxi. thumbs up on this hotel for me.

I stayed there once and was happy with the room and the service. Guess it depends on your requirements. The room I had was a little tired and dated in the decor (pink tropical theme) but clean and serviceable. Your basic hotel room, perhaps a notch above a Days Inn type room. The price was right for what we got. I found the staff friendly and helpful and the buffet and the Paradise Cafe are pretty decent. The parking lot is convenient to the property (I like that you don't have to walk a mile from your car to your room) and the monorail makes it easy to get to the Strip. As a Star Trek fan, I always visit the LV Hilton every time I am in Vegas to eat at Quark's and see what is new in the promenade shops and gamble a bit in the Space Quest casino. I don't think you will be disappointed ... I would not hesitate to stay there again.

I like the room view of the golf course...green, trees, lake, blue sky...

I played $10 blackjack there once. I lost 8 hands in a row. Ouch!

Lost $100 in the session. It shouldn't, but it colors my opinion of the place.

I'm not a big star trek fan, so I don't have that going for me...

I like the Hilton. Great pool, good restaurants, great sports book, some shops, nice buffet, nice people . . .You get the idea. As for the quality of the rooms . . . When you've got 3,000 rooms, some will be better than others. If you're in your room when you're concious long enough to complain about the decor, you should have gone to the Pocono's . . . . . .
