This week's Topic Of The Week is one of those questions that anyone can answer:

What is your favorite table game or slot machine?

How much time per day do you spend playing your favorite table game or slot machine?

Do you quit while your ahead?

I love Blackjack! I can sit at a table for hours if I am winning or at least staying even. I can't get enough of this game.

I have played for more than 10 or 12 hours at a time.

If I am ahead and I see that the table has turned, I quit. I can usually tell if it has turned, because I lose three or four hands in a row.

Believe it or not my favorite machine is a penny machine, Seal Slide. Very simple, it pays me a lot. One fo the first times I played it I hit for 41,000 credits. I know it's only $410.00 but just to see that amount of credits was a thrill.

I love craps! I often play with my friends, usually pass and come, with full odds. If the table is losing, I'll switch to the "dark side", playing the Don't Come, again with odds. I've won and lost about the same amount over the years by playing both sides of the dice.

I will not quit if I am rolling - I remember in Barberry Coast one night, waiting for dinner, losing about $700 playing the "Don't" at a full table - just because I kept making my points (I had to throw about 8 passes in a row). The table was going wild, I was losing, but I kept on playing. My buddy I was playing with kept telling me just to pass the dice and walk away.

If the table is empty, I will often make difficult bets, like strange odds bets, just to keep the dealers sharp. I always tip them often generously, so they friendly. If it starts to fill up, I'll switch back to "normal" bets.

I avoid the Field at all times - I have lost my shirt chasing the dice far too many times.

I still use the ten percent solution, and it still works. If you live 'nearby' a casino and leave when you are ahead $200, 5 days a week, that's=__________. Now do that 50 weeks a year.......... Walk in the place with $2000.00 in your pocket, and play smart. Buy all the books and systems and practice, practice practice. You are going up against an opponent worth millions of dollars and going to war! They want your stuff(money) and you want your $200.00. Once in the casino you first job is to survive. Next play wise and take their money. Get the $200.00 and hit the front door. Go Home, get away from the place for the day. This can be done in a hour, or 12 hours. Leave!!

Don't have a favorite, have several: craps, bj, 3card poker and vp at the top of the list.

Don't know what my daily is, but would guess 6 - 8 hours. And on occasion I do quit while I am ahead.

I usually play 25 cent JOB or Double Bonus Poker. It all depends on the available pay tables. If I'm up I switch to $1 machines.
I have been recently playing the Let It Ride machines and have been doing good on them. You can play a long time if you play tight/smart.
If I feel like midless slots and sometimes I do depending on how much I have to drink, I like 25 cent Wheel Of Fortune. I have done OK with those machines. But like I said 95% VP. I like to make a decision when I lose my money.

My husband and I play the slots, I prefer the 25 cent 2 coin machines. I look for the machines that have the best pay out and give them a whirl. We usually play in the afternoon and early evening. I slip the money I win in another pocket of my jeans and bring that money home. I always do better than my husband because he doesn't save the money he wins. Sherry

My favorite without question is VP I will play for probably a total of 8 to 10 hours a day, or more. If I have a big win I may stop for a hour or so but go right back to it after the "high" has wore off. I also like to sit at the Roulette table for a while now and then mainly just because it gives me a chance to rest my eyes and brain.

My favorite slot machine is Wheel of Fortune and Video Poker.

My favorite table games are....
1. Let it Ride
2. Paigow Poker
3. Roulette

The amount of time I play these games all depends of my financial situation..;)
Usually I play the table games 2-3 hours at a clip, switch to slots for an hour or so, eat, go to another casino, then hit the tables again.

I just returned from a 5 day trip to LV on 02/13 staying at the Luxor. I had a streak of luck that I will probably never have again. I played the $0.25, $1 & $5 Wheel of Fortune Slots most of my stay at all the hotels I visited. My best luck, however, occured at Luxor. When spinning the wheel I hit the top jackpot of 1000 on the $1 machine 3 times the $0.25 once and the top jacpot on the $5 machine of $1,195 once. I even hit the 1000 on the $1 machine at Manadalay Bay once. Best of all the Luxor comped 4 of my 5 nights stay. :p :D :)

I play a little Video Poker and a little Craps and Baccarat; but I have been known to play 24 hrs. at a stretch, without a substantial break, at Blackjack.
I have never known anyone with my stamina / obsession. Of course now that I am 'older', more than 10 hrs. at a time is becoming very uncommon for me.

I love Lobster Mania the most

My favorite game is craps, with BJ a close second. If I'm winning, or at least not losing much, i.e... breaking even, I tend to gamble in 4 hour blocks. I love craps the best, but tables can change so quickly, so I'll move to BJ and then sometimes back to craps.

I also love VP, but I usually only play the table-machines at the bar where I can get (sort of)free drinks. Sometimes I win, sometimes those beers end up costing me 40$!

I have win goals and loss limits when I go to a table. If I hit my win goal, I walk away. Believe me, it takes a lot of willpower to do that, especially if I hit it early. If a couple of hands puts me ABOVE my win goal, then increase the win goal. In other words, if my win goal is $200, and I'm up to $250, I'll play that down to $200. But if I win with that $250 and get up to $300, then I'll play down to $250 and thus continue raising my win goals like that.

What is your favorite table game or slot machine?

I love all table games but spend most of my time on BJ!

As to slots I like anything thats fun - not just a 3 line slot!

Switching off between the two it's
Black Jack- some where between 4-7 hours a day per trip
VP- twenty five cent Jacks or better triple play max coin in. 4-7 hours a day per trip.
Over the years people have said many different things to me to me about gambling ... These 4 things stuck in my head the most so I play by them.

1) Master the game to the best of your ability before you even sit down to play. You should have the answer to the question " What does the book say to do? ".. If you have to ask the question you should not be playing.

2) At one time during a session there is a good chance you will be up money. If everyone took the profit when they were up. The casinos would be out of business. What do you care if they go out of business. Another casino will open around the corner.

3) Start out losing? If you get back to even... walk away. You can always start over again later.

4) The Casinos $5.00 may not look like much but it looks better in my pocket then in their pocket.

I'll take a profit when ever I can.

My favorite table game is roulette. Depending on if I am winning, I can stay at the table for a long period of time. If I am winning by a big enough amount, I definitely quit while I am ahead.

My favorite slot machine is Jacklot Party (1 cent). I could sit there for hours playing that game. If you get enough "parties" you can really come away some money!!!!

I can't wait to play those games in less than 2 weeks!!!! :)

I love Baccarat as my favorite table game but as I tend to play at $10 or less I usually end up at a mini Baccarat table. I only play reel slots and just don't care for the newer video slots. On slots I enjoy both Double Diamond and Cigar for flat tops and Wheel of Fortune and Elvis for the progressives. My favorite VP machines include full pay Joker Poker and Duces Wild. While in Vegas, or any other casino location, I usually end up playing 10-12 hours a day. I guess this makes up for not getting to casinos on a regular basis.

As far as table games, blackjack.....but only at the 'low-end' tables. We usually play at the Gold Coast. But, for slot machines....my favorite used to be Slotto; it's pretty much gone now, but I did find one at the Barbary Coast. That game is NOT worth entering that casino....yeech. Currently, my favorite slot is Wheel of Forturne, but it's difficult to find a machine that's open. I play for a while, lose my money, then give up on the slots. Vegas for us is not for the gambling as much any more. It's just the relaxation, great restaurants, and fabulous shows!!!! Gambling is definitely a sideline!!!!

I play slots most of the time and enjoy the bonus slots.

My favorites penny slots (at this time) are "It's a Blast", Lemmings" and Mermaid.

When I play table games I play either Roulette, Blackjack or Let it Ride.

Roulette I play at Sunset Klondike. They have a 10 cent table. No fortunes made here, but you can play for hours and if you're loosing it wont be much.

Blackjack, I play at Nevada Palace as they have a $1.00 table.

As for Let it ride, I love a game that allows you to take back part of your bet after the cards are dealt.

I'm writing this from Las Vegas where I've enjoyed the last week playing all my favorites. As soon as I finish typing this I'm heading to the Sunset Casino to play the new World Poker Series slots. I've only found them at Sunset and have had fairly good luck with them

Have fun and keep the bells and whistles going off!

I really enjoy playing VP but I have to say that my favorite play is the slot Double Red, White, and Blue. Four years ago, on back-to-back days I hit $6000 and $4800 at TI playing the $5 machines. Last fall I hit $10000 on a $1 machine at TI.

Without a doubt, my fav is blackjack.

I limit myself to 8 hours a day, per session. Otherwise, who knows how long I'd be there! I do, however, occasionally have more than one session per day.

I play low roller tables, so I can sit at the tables for a long time, even if losing. I am more likely to quit my session if I am losing, rather than winning; I am one of those gamblers who "tucks it away" if winning.

Although I play low stakes, I will NOT play at tables with continuous shufflers or bad table odds.
I have been tracking my play (BJ only) for a while now - 2007 is my fourth year to do so - avg. about 4 trips a year to Vegas - at this point I'm still slightly up (despite two recent trips where I ended up losing). Yeah!!

Play very little else; but do love to occasionally play Texas Tea and Wild Thing, especially when I can find low denom. machines.

My preference is to gamble on the cheap, and go often.

I like to play craps and crazy 4 poker at the tables. I also like VP at the bars to collect faster drinks, and Double Triple Diamond Deluxe With Cheese when I can get the bonus round. I also like the red, white, and blue 7's machine.

I like to sight see, so I don't usually stay in one place for very long. I may play for two hours and take a break and do something else.

I quit when I feel sick about the money I've lost or when it stops being fun.

My favorite slot machine is "Solstice Gold" in either penny or nickel. There is usually only one or two in each casino and I believe I have played just about every one of them both on the Strip and Downtown. Naturally I have lost more than I have won on this machine but my money usually lasts for a long time and I have had some truely remarkable lucky streaks that lasted for hours.

my favorite by far is triple shot at harrahs (three hands - war, blackjack and 5 card poker). The odds aren't nearly as good as regular 3-2 no cont shuffle blackjack, but it's so much fun, and I usually win, sometimes pretty big

Harrahs is the only place I've seen that has this game, so if I'm at another casino, it's blackjack.

In Atlantic City, specifically Deuces Wild if you can find them(I play at the Borgata) VP and some of the newer nickel and penny slots. Not too much luck in AC. In Las Vegas, at the Orleans it is Loose Deuces most of the time. I have alot of luck on those. I hit for LD 3x's last month. I will play a few more hands and then walk away and try again later in the day or evening. I also play Deuces Wild. The rest of the time are the newest penny, 2-cent, 10-cent and nickel slots. Going to AC tomorrow!! Wish me Luck!!

I like playing Penny 50 Lions. I can play for hours on end as long as I win a little and not lose too much. I set aside an amount that I am willing to lose. When I lose that amount I walk away. If I'm winning I will again set aside an amount that I will play to and then walk away.

I can sit at a blackjack table for hours and never get bored. First I check out the tables to see who is having fun and I will sit at that table. I often win because I follow a good basic strategy. But if I am going to lose, at least I'm having fun doing it. I will never sit down with a stuffy, crabby dealer. My prerequisites are a fun dealer and players who look like they are enjoying themselves. When those criteria change I'm outa there. Beth

I am partial to quarter and dollar Wheel of Fortune...though it seems everyone gets the spin the big wheel more than I do! I also love Fourth of July machines as well as 3X, 5X or 10X + machines. I must say that I detest video slots! Give me the good old reel slots anyday! As far as table games are concerned, the only one I've ever attempted was $1 Blackjack, which I loved! As long as I have children to educate, I have to stick with the low limit games. But I can truly have a blast at just about anything!

My favorite table game is Pai Gow Poker. I can play this for hours at a time especially if it is a fun table.

As far as slots go, I enjoy the Hot Hot Penny, Green Jade, Lighthouse Loot (A Jackpot Party progressive game), Carnival Of Mystery that has 243 ways to win, You Bet Your Life and Bustin Barrels ( I am not partial but that's what I sell for my REAL job)

As for higher denomination slots I like the Powerball Slots, the 5 and 10x's Pay slots, Any of the Triple or Double/Triple 7 machines and Triple Strike. I will only play $1.00 or $5.00 slots if 1- There is a bonus round or 2-It has to has to have payouts that at least have an symbol that will at least double or better your payout. I will not play a machine where a wild card or specific symbol only sunstitutes for another symbol and there is no extra payout.

I do play them to at least break even. If I start with $20 and I win a few bucks I will usually cash out if I fall back down to my original $20. If I hit something good, I will pick out a "cash out" number and will cash out if I get down to it. It's very rare that I will give back everything I have won..that is unless I am with Eileen who will usually play the credits all the way down.

My favorite table game is B/J. 2 deck, double on any 2 cards, multiple splits on pairs, NO 6/5, Dealer stays on soft 17, split Aces more than once, good friendly dealer, & fun players. Doesn't get any better than that. I usually quit after losing $100-150. It depends how long I've been sitting there. Usually play @ same table as wife. Video poker is next best. Just got back from there & hit 2 Royals on same machine in about 90 minutes. Never happened before. I only had 2 in my life. Now my wife has to get here first. I'm really pulling for her.

My favorite is the video slots and .25 video poker ( I practice at home on my computer the Win poker program). I also like the rapid roulette game. I try to tuck some away if I win anything above what I started out with. Less than 2 weeks to go till I'm back in LV.

Usually play BJ downtown at the $5 1-2 deck tables with an honest pay out (6-5 is a rip-off) Usually try to stay ahead of the house 3 to 4 hours at a stretch or double my initial buy and lose 3 hands out of 5. That usually means the cards have turned and it's time for me to find the wife at her slot and then mess with the .25 2 coin red white & blue or double diamond. Like 3 card poker and let-it- ride for a change.

My favorite table game is craps. I play the pass line with full odds and place bets. I always place the 6 and 8 first and then if the shooter is rolling some numbers I will venture to the other place bet numbers. I stay away from the hardways, 1 roll bets and field bets.
I also like blackjack and have become intrigued by the system the MIT students used to make tons of money. My wife favors blackjack.
We both like the $1 WOF slots.
Sometimes I can walk away and sometimes I can't. Not consistent at all.

I love craps. It's the best game in the casino with the best odds. If I stick with it, play the pass line and take the 6 and 8, I normally leave with more than I started with.

Quick story:
On my last trip on my last night I went to the Hard Rock and played craps. I had $10 on the line and $10 behind with $12 on 6 and 8. I was hitting like crazy. I left with $300 which put me even for the week. There was a girl standing at the table that was betting $500 at a time on the field (one of the worst bets in craps) and proceeded to lose $1500 in about 15 minutes.
Wow!

Moral: Stay away from the field bet!

I like to play VP, DDB, because I tend to hit 4 Aces a lot (hope I don't jinx myself), slots - I like the old RWB and Triple Diamonds (those are my luckiest so far), also WOF (this time I'll try the $1 WOF), sometimes BJ. My husband likes craps & BJ, occasionally VP. We're leaving for LV at 8:15am tomorrow.

For table games, I play black jack. I'd like to learn to play craps, but till I do, I'll stick with basic strategy which I understand.
I really enjoy playing the Family Feud slot machines. We played on 4 at Binion's this summer and found 4 at MGM. Used to play them at Boardwalk. If no FF, like one with gemstones that explode.
Low Roller all the way!!!

This week's Topic Of The Week is one of those questions that anyone can answer:

What is your favorite table game or slot machine?

How much time per day do you spend playing your favorite table game or slot machine?

Do you quit while your ahead?

My favorite table game is PaiGow. And how much time I play depends on how I am doing. I will start with $100 and play until it is gone. Or I will play until I am up $100.

I don't really have a favorite slot machine but I will put in $20 and play till I am up to about $50. If Steve and I are playing a machine together, we each put in $20 and play it all or quit when we get to $100.

My favorite table games are BJ ( 3:2 of course ) and Let it Ride.

As far as slots go, I'm partial to Mystical Mermaid, Eagle Rock, White Water, and Kenny Rogers. All penny of course as I'm to much of a low roller to bet that many lines and credits with nickels or quarters ... lol. Also, I enjoy DDB VP and Deuces Wild VP.
Generally, I'll play 6-15 hours a day in Vegas ( assuming my bankroll holds out ).

Slots are my game of choice..my favorite..In The Money. Vegas is the only place I have seen them in nickels..but I usually play .25 & .50 denom, sometimes dollars. They have them at our local casino..but they aren't doing me any favors lately! I also like 2x 10x 5x..come to think of it..no favors there either!
Walking away..I used to have a rule, 100.00 up..move, lately I have had to lower that amount, or I wouldn't be walking away with anything(machines have been tight..don't you think?)
I also like to take a break sometimes and play some keno..I find I can't get hurt too bad there!

I love to play craps, but not at the orleans where I usually stay. They only have 2x odds and for some I just don't feel confortable playing there.I like fiesta henderson and green valley for craps and I always go to the stratosphere for crapless craps.I had my biggest win there last year 1600.00 It was a great roll,a seven out and then a monster roll.A high roller on the table was up 32000 after the first roll and 102,000 after the second roll.I do like vp progressive machine at the orleans.

Blackjack is my favorite table game, I would like to learn poker if I move on to something else since it's all the rage. All the good late night shows on TV have been replaced with poker here. I should BE so lucky as to leave when I'm ahead. I like Wheel of Fortune and whatever the slot is with the ducks. I tend to want to spin the big wheel on top etc. that I forget what the REAL target is, to get the 3 Wheel of Fortune symbols and win the BIG jackpot. I don't know how much time I spend, how long does it take for the dealers to go through an entire shift.

My favorite table game is craps but usually don't spend much time at the table.

Spend most of casino time with bar DDB VP. Have had good trips and bad trips, best was 5 royals, bringing home $9000. Many trips I have left them $2000-$3000 :( . Next trip in May.

Last May, they had just came out with a new slot machine called Wheel of Fortune Super Spin. This thing ROCKS.

My favorite table game is BJ but on this trip, I plan on hitting Craps heavily.

Hello

Love to play craps and that is pretty much the only table game that I play unless I spend a little time at Blackjack but after craps BJ seems so boring. Time at the table will totally depend on whether the tables are hot or cold. Actually, a table that is back and forth often results in a very long session as you are not losing or winning much money so you just keep playing and playing.

Play pass and come with odds and then place numbers based on what is going on. I try to quit if I am ahead but that is the toughest thing to do in the casino isn't it? Did have a $1,400 session and a $900 session over this past weekend at the Tropicana in Atlantic City - two nice hits!

Also love to bet the ponies and will spend a few hours a day at the Venetian Race Book betting the horses and having some beverages.

Trying to get to LV in May

Hooked on Let It Ride. Very seldom win, but love trying! Slot machines - no real favorite. Partial to Double Red, White & Blue. Would rather play video poker.

I love to play craps the most. Than comes 3 card poker
My slot machine game is KENO.
Can you say HOURS of play?
And leave after I'm up. Oh, that doesn't ever happen:D

My favorite game is bonus poker. It is an older game and there are really not that many machines left so at times there is quite a search to be made. The other thing is that many of the casinos also have changed the payoffs so you have to watch out for the new payoffs that are 7/5 or sometimes less from the old 8/5 machines.

Black Jack at the Golden Gate. Low limit table. Buy in with $50.00 & when I double it tuck the original 50 away & play with the houses money. If I loose 4 hands in a row with my money leave & try again latter. Have played so long that I had to stand up because my leg fell asleep.

Favourite table game: Roulette. I love to bet 13 and it's neighbours on the track. (ie I cover a portion of the wheel surrounding # 13) Usually play for about 2 hours at our local casino.

Favourite slot machine: "Sinatra" video slots (plays "Fly Me To the Moon" when you get a wild card on the second reel) Sing to me, Frankie!!!

I'm not one to sit still for more than a half hour or so - my husband and I love to wander around Vegas and see the sights - so I play sporadically throughout the day.

Favourite blend of the two (and favourite all around) - Rapid Roulette!

A few times I have walked away while I was ahead - not often LOL

I always finish the day at the video poker machines at the bar. Well, maybe even start there too. I stay at Harrah's in Vegas. The bartenders are awesome. Along with video poker play, my husband and I enjoy talking with the bartenders, some of whom have become friends over the years.

However, we frequent the nearby Iowa casinos. My hubby and I are both low rollers, and with the many video slot machines available, can easily spend 12 hours a visit!

My favorite slots are: "Red Baron"; "Touchdown Frenzy"; "Machine"; "Great Wall of China"; "Pompei"; heck, there are too many "favorites" for me which explains why I most often leave more money in the machines than take home!:p

Since the paper in/out has taken over, I have been more careful in slowing down the rate I play, and will change machines often if nothing is happening.

I usually don't last long at the table games (when I have enough to spend), but I really enjoy "Let It Ride" and "Roulette".

25 cent VP- mostly DDB -love those 4 of a kinds and they show up more often than the elusive royal.

BJ- $5 tables only. Have fallen in love with Black Jack Switch @ Casino Royale and Fitzgerald's. Has anyone seen this game anywhere else?

3-Card Poker

Triple Shot @ Harrah's and with the right dealer is a blast, but rarely do I walk away with money

Let It Ride- will play more of this now that some of the tables have the 3-card poker bet on them as well.

Holdem Tourneys (Luxor, Gold Coast) for low buy-in is a great deal of fun and saves money in the long run. Anyone know other low cost tourneys (without re-buys)? Gonna try live games on my next trip.

Will play some slots and roulette.

I have a more difficult time setting limits at a machine than at a table. I do like to stick chips in my pocket when I'm doing well at table games and will not go back in to get them, and am sometimes surprised at what I pull out
later to color up!

2 hours is about my limit at both tables and machines- as long as I'm winning or close to even. If not winning,I try to take something away but the machines sometimes, somehow persuade me to go the distance!

Another good question, Steve!

I split my time fairly evenly between Blackjack, Pai Gow, and Video Poker (mostly Jacks or Better, but I'm also getting more into Dueces Wild).

My actual gambling time is probably around 4-6 hours a day. I don't spend much away from one of those three games.

Winnings on individual hands are split between my play pile (what I bought in with) and my savings pile. Once the play pile has dwindled, I generally walk away. Sometimes I have a nice chunk of change, usually I have simply minimized my losses. TITO has limited this strategy on the machines

My favorite table game is Rapid Roulette. I played this game for over 12 hours at Sam's Town and came out ahead. WE don't have this game in AC, at least not yet. My favorite slot is coyote moon. You either win big or loose big - real fast. I don't usually leave with winnings. The AC casino's are too tight. Can't wait to get back to Vegas. Does anoyone win in AC?

I play anything that will take my money. Needless to say, I lose a lot. I'd rather play craps more than anything else, except that there are times when my money is spent way too fast playing that game. But, I don't like playing anything for more than 20-30 minutes. I get bored, except when playing craps, in which case I have to quit because I have no more money.

I love all 3 games but I would have to say craps is my favorite. The best part about the game is if you play the pass line and there is a hot roller, everyone is winning! Another great thing about the game is the odds which reduces the house advantage from the pass line.

My strategy for craps is to play for an hour or two per session. If the table is cold and people keep missing their point, I will switch tables. I always play the pass and single to double odds. I will play come bets when the table is REAL hot, and I always play the 6. Occasionally I will throw out a bet for the yo (11)

My favorite game is nickel four card keno. I could play that constantly from morning till bedtime and usually do. I also go for blackjack in Vegas because it is afordable. We usually have to go to Atlantic City NJ where the minimum blackjack is $10. They don't even have Game King 4 card keno. I wish I knew why because they have them eveywhere in Vegas.

My favorite is Craps at Barbary Coast. My brother and I stay at Flamingo and LIVE at BC. We only play on 1 certain table. I have never lost on this table so yes..I always quit when I am ahead...:) We walk through the casinos and play BJ 1 or 2 hands, win, and walk away. We play Cleopatra slots, win and walk away. My brother swears this is the only way so we have always done this. All the while we are sports betting and really cleaning up on that. That is what we go for ....BIG MONEY...on all sports and horses. I have been to Vegas 3 times now and have not lost. Everyone keeps saying "get ready girl" it wont last forever! Ha ha. Im going back May 30.....we'll see....Vegas Baby....my favorite place in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 7 7 7 7 :D

Many years ago, I was in the bar at the Tropicana, furthering my studies on the Perfect Mai Tai, when I got caught up with a lively group of Australians. These guys, in their early 20's, were all decked out in tuxedos and having a wonderful time, as one of them was getting married in just a few hours, This was the bachelor party. I didn't know any of them but they all seemed to know me, and everyone else in the place.
So after a few more rounds, the party poured out to the casino, and we took over a table in the Pai Gow Poker area. That was as far as a couple of the guys could walk, unassisted. Comfy seat, 10 dollar minimum, and the dealer, a cute little gal of Asian origin, was overly happy to guide our play and teach us the rules. You get 7 cards. You make the best 5 card poker hand possible, and the best two card hand out of whats left. The dealer, who you play against, does the same thing. If both your hands beat both of the dealer's, you WIN! :D Your bet is matched with the payoff, except the house keeps 5%. So you put in 10, and pull back 19.50. Of course if the dealer beats both of your hands, you lose.:( BUT, if you tie, win one lose one, its a Push!!! With the right string of luck, one $10 bet can sit out there, push push push for an hour or more! And the whole time the cocktail waitress continues bringing more drinks, and more drinks and you give her a dollar each time. So it went on for what turned out to be 4 hours of play. I walked (staggered) away with over $300 in winnings. Never saw the Aussies again. But every trip since I've spent some time at almost every casino in town, playing pai gow poker, getting the drinks and having a wonderful time.
I am so glad nobody invented a video pai gow yet.

"I am so glad nobody invented a video pai gow yet."

I have played video Pai Gow but it wasn't in Las Vegas. There were prototypes of video Pai Gow at this years CES show. But it usually takes a year from the show to the casino floor.

If they can do a video version of Let It Ride, they can do it with Pai Gow.

My favorite table game used to be Blackjack. Now it's nearly impossible to get a decent advantage.

I got tired of hearing the Craps pits roaring and learned that game. Now I roar right along with the rest of those lions--:)

My favorite slots are 3 reelers.I play the 2 and 3 coin options. IGT 10x has to be my favorite by far as I have won 6k, 2k and 2k at the Vegas Golden Nugget.

We both like nickel and penny video slots and quarter and nickel video poker. Also we'll both play Let-it-Ride and roulette at the tables. Sometimes I'll do blackjack or craps. I seldom play anything for more than an hour or two then I get bored and have to take a walk, get a drink, or just do something else. I have seen Cheryl play for hours at one machine.

My favorite is Craps at Barbary Coast.

I love playing Craps, Black Jack a VP at the Barbary. I hope they don't ruin it for us BC lovers when they change the place to "Bill's Gamblin Hall and Saloon, Bordello and All Male Review" or whatever it is.

Have found a comfort zone on the roulette tables, actually winning more often than not. Good luck at the Mirage, not so good at the Flamingo(betting black, 8 reds in a row, incredible). Coming out in April and have an interest in also trying VP. Any sites that can help with strategy with that?

Anytime I'm in Vegas I love to play blackjack. I'll play for a few hours here an there. When I'm looking to do something mindless I'll play nickel slots. Yet overall I play blackjack for several hours at a time. I tend to slowly ration out my money to be able to play as long as I can.

Blackjack. If you are at a table where everyone knows basic strategy you can sometimes get on a roll. I wish we had it here in Florida on somewhere other than the casino boats!

My favorite table game is double-deck blackjack. I've found over the years that it's the best game around especially if you like to count cards. Single-deck games don't really do it for me since most of the games have horrible rules (6/5 BJ is the worst rule of all!!).

My favorite slot games used to be (I don't think that they're around any more):
Eureka (Mining nickel game 4 x 4 grid that I hit for $625 - max payout!)
Easy Street (I never seemed to lose at that game)
Ripley's Believe It or Not (loved that game)

Slots still around:
Dollar Wheel of Fortune (I always seem to do well on it)

Okay, Rodman, you peeked my interest - where do you find your two deck, double on any, split aces more than once, 3:2 BJ tables? What do you find for minimums these tables? thanks

The best I found so far was Palace St..Respit Aces, double after split but dealer hits soft 17 & 2 decks. House edge is .34% According to LV Blackjack survey Slots of fun has the lowest House edge of .19% but you can't resplit Aces but dealer does stand on soft 17 & you can double after split. We played there Feb. 14 & 15 but table we played @ you could only double on 7,8,9,10, & 11. I haven't played @ the LV Club but the survey says it has good rules also. House edge .34%

I absolutely love to play craps. The excitement, the speed of the game, the fast money.. either winner or loosing. I also enjoy blackjack. The newer slots with bonus rounds are intriguing with all the flash, sparkle and shine.
