I assume these three all compare in quality service and price, but which one would you choose and why?

Is the Steak House at CC still as good as everyone says or is it just living off of it's old reputation?

I have heard the Top of the World can be overpriced and overrated. What do you think?

TIA

When were were there in March we went to the Top of the World and I was very disappointed with the quality of the food. I had the stuffed veal and it was horrible. The lobster bisque was tomatoe soup. Now that said, it is the greatest as far as view. We had something like 7:30 reservations and watched the sunset as we ate, it was awesome. It is expensive, which I wouldn't mind if the food was worth it. My suggestion, go up and have a couple martimis at the bar and eat someplace else. I hear the steakhouse at the Wynn is supposed to be great.

Blackstone's left a bad taste in my mouth (no pun intended) as our advanced reservation request was for a non-smoking section. When we got to the restaurant we were seating in a smoking section which wasn't noticable upon seating. During the meal we were bombarded with smoke and asked to be seated elsewhere. The Maitre D said there were no non-smoking tables available. I told hime to check our voicemail registration for a non-smoking table. He came back and said it WAS there but fell through the cracks. Actually, he really didn't give a

We have never had a bad meal at Top Of The World and despite the over the Top Of The World prices, it was a very pleasent experience.

For the $$$$, I would recommend the C.C. Steakhouse. The portions are HUGE and all you get almost a complete dinner for the price of an Entree'

I use Top Of The World for 'newbies' I'm showing around town...LUNCH
preferably is the far better deal, but you miss the lights. That said, the
daytime view is still quite impressive and the rides are always fun.

Being well aware of the prices and quality, I had dinner there a few
months ago...it was OK, nothing too special. I hadn't been up there in quite a while and wanted to check out the view and new rides. I agree with 'Hudfulprls'...........
the Lobster Bisque was nothing more than tomatoe soup with a few
little pieces of lobster tossed in, my Ahi might as well have been sashimi...
far too rare and so covered in sauce you couldn't taste it anyway.
The service was fine and the view at night is alway wonderful.
There's so many great 'Steak' joints in town...I haven't been to Blackstones yet...I do hear it's good. I like 'N9ine' in the PALMS.

Greg-

How are the prices at N9ne at the Palms? Is it expensive? Moderate?

I've seen good reviews for it on various boards.

We have gone to Top of the World for lunch and found it very good...but we have never, never had a bad meal at CC....its just amazing to us when you walk into the steakhouse...all the craziness of the casino disappears..service, portions & atmosphere were top rate.

We also like the Palms Restaurant at Ceasar's Forum Shops..not much atmosphere but delicious food

N9ine is 'normal' expensive Gary...$124.00 pluss tip for two/no drinks.
Everything is alacart. We had Broccli, Carrots, and WONDERFUL/made
from scratch Creamed Corn...one of George Maloofs' favorites they
added to the menu. Two small filets and two dinner salads and
everything was great.
I made a reservation for 6:00, it was a Sunday, and really didn't need
them but you never know...1.866.942.7770

I did the Top of the World last year and the service was some of the best i've seen. The view is unequalled in my opinion. The food was good but not great. However, you are paying for the experiance as well so bear that in mind.
This year the BIG dinner is going to be at the Prime Steakhouse at the Bellagio!

Ate at Blackstones last year as I stayed at Monte Carlo. It was verrrrrryyyyy good. A great value.

I have heard SW at Wynn is good.

the best view in vegas is at the top of the world. and, rather then spending huge money in the restaurant, why not just go up and have a cocktail at the bar just outside the restaurant entrance. same view, just doesn't rotate. if you want the panorama, take a walk around the tower. me? i prefer the bar. usually has great entertainment. jazz/pop singers and combos. one of my regular spots to take visitors. for steaks, you can usually find decent steakhouses in any of the mid-range hotels. for prime steaks, try ruth's chris or morton's of chicago. no matter where you go, good steak prices start at about $30. unless you go to roberta's in the el cortez downtown. there, they will serve you a bone in real prime rib for $15.95 with salad, potato and vegetables. of course the location is not as "prime" as the rib and steaks.

I have never been to Blackstones, but have been to Top of the Work and the Circus Circus Steakhouse. Of the two, my vote will go to CC Steakhoues hands down. Great food, great service and reasonable prices.

While Top of the World has an awesome view, I felt it was very overpriced and the service was sub-par. I'd suggest it for lunch, or maybe a view cocktails, but dine elsewhere for dinner.
