Dear Everything Las Vegas Members,
Please join me at Boulder Station Casino on Friday, February 23 for a night of comedy just right for people smart enough to look it up on this website.
If you’re still trying to convince a reluctant member of your group to make this show your destination, here are some suggested arguments: 1) This relationship isn’t meeting my needs. 2) Oh, come on, we went to the yoga on ice show when you wanted to. 3) You’ll love Paula, she’s the only comic who talks about Beethoven’s mother. Besides, it’s good for her to be around people.
See you there.
Much Love,
Paula Poundstone

Well, I'm going to miss Boulder Station but I hope it's
just the start of many more gigs to come in Las Vegas.
I'd agree this relationship needs something...
You don't call, you don't write, then BOOM! out of the blue
"please join me at Boulder Station..." won't work Paula, I'm
not in town again until March!
The 23d is Friday...hang out til Sunday (maybe Rita will let you
crash on the couch). Set up a lunch date with Mike Weatherford
for Sunday the 25th...you can have 'Wait! Wait Don't Tell Me' on
the radio as you drive thru IN 'N OUT BURGER...he'll do a bit on you
in the RJ, you'll get a gig in 'Shimmer' at the LVHilton and I'll see ya
in March with bells on! (Beethoven's mother sang 'Summertime' too didn't she?)
P.S. I didn't go to yoga on ice...I had to get my cat neutered that
night...REEEMEMBER?

Sorry I will miss this as I won't be in Vegas until March 16, but please keep us posted about your next visit. Oh yea, does this mean Blackie won't be talking to us anymore?

Oh no...just my luck! We're arriving on the 23rd but not until after 10:00 p.m. It's been a while since I caught your show and it sure would have been fun. Hopefully, the offer will come again.

I've never been out there...Looks like it's next to Arizona Charlies East
on the Boulder Hwy.
Looks like you could take Trop or Flamingo East to 'Lamb', hang a Left
and head North to Fremont/Boulder Hwy.
That otta get ya good n lost................Where you coming from?

'Pimp N M'.....maybe we should start a little closer to home.
Try taking Martin Luther King to 5th...catch 880 South to
Hegenburger and the Oakland International Airport. Once you
get to Vegas...'Denny Griffin's' directons make more sense than mine lol!

Hey Paula.....I wish I were in LV to see your show, but I'm sure they'll be other times. You are one of my favorite stand-up comics! I know you'll be in NJ in a few months, so....I'll see you then. :D

I like the "must be 21 or older, no exceptions" clause in Paula's show flyer. We saw Brett Butler in Las Vegas many years ago and she was clearly uncomfortable with having a little one (8 to 10 years old, in my judgement) in the front row a few seats down from us. It definitely distracted her, and took something away from the show.
