Does anyone know anything good or bad about Toby Keith Bar and Grill. We will be in Vegas in Jan. and wondered if it would be worth checking out.

If you are into Toby's music you will like this place. Always seems to a have live band there or Toby Keith music in the background. Very interesting menu including some of Toby's own favorites. If you are staying at Harrahs or Rio you can charge the tab to your room. There is a really neat shop next door with a lot of Toby Keith logoed items.

I was there when it first opened and was disappointed that we were not comped while playing VP at the bar. They told us they were rethinking it, but I never found out if they changed that rule. Does anyone know if VP players at the bar are now comped? A group of us are going out in a couple of weeks and are interested in going, but NOT if we have to pay while playing.

Can't help with the VP question. We were there in July and it was quite a fun place. The waitresses were smoking hot and the beer was icy cold! What more can you ask for? LOL! Oh, and they have a HUGE television (took up the whole wall) at the back of the place which they were showing Nascar on. It was fun. I was surprised to see the decor though (or lack thereof). It was stark and kinda cold looking. Not a woody country atmosphere as one would expect with the country music theme going on. We stopped off on our way off the monorail into Harrah's. It was very convenient to the monorail location.

Stopping in at Toby Keith's bar is one of the only things on our "to do" list for your trip in October. I have heard good things about it. Heard that they serve a lot of good, down-home country type sandwiches like a fried bologna sandwich. We are there the first week of October and can let you know what we thought of the place when we return.

Let us know. The fried bologna s/w and the chocolate bread pudding sound tempting, but have been reluctant to try them.
