This would be the headline leading into your comment.

Just repost your header into the MESSAGE area, type out your opinion and post it.
Monorail’s ’secret plan’ unveiled

I don't think that the $5.00 that the monorail charges per ride is fair .................................and so on.

I thought this might be something our members would like to participate in. What do you think?

Guess I'll break the ice.......I'm reading the #609 Newsletter
and the article about Earl Turner. If you've never seen his Show,
he works similar to Clint Holmes, has a great Show, and a great
history with Harrah's. His Show is ending at the Palace Station and
the question is...where will he land.

The first place that came to mind was the Chippendales room at
the RIO where Jeff Trachta has (or had) his Show.
I just noticed that Jeff's picture and Show is NOT on the RIO's
webpage any more....so I called the RIO. It hasn't been anounced
yet, but Jeff is gone. EARL TURNER would be so right for the RIO!
If Harrah's could find a slot that wouldn't conflict with the great business
PRINCE is doing for the property, TURNER would be perfect.
...I'll just send off and email to Marilyn Winn, LOL! and make sure she's
aware of the great opportunity in her neighborhood.

Whooeee. You really think she'll listen, Greg? I wish she would though. I've been wanting to see Earl but didn't want to have to go traipsing off to Palace Station.

He had a long stint at Harrahs/New Orleans before Katrina hit. They haven't put in anybody to headline since they opened back up, so I am thinking he may go back go NOLA.

Well, I tried Del.....I sware, these Senior Vice Presidents are workaholics.
I sent a note to Marilyn and she replied right back...still in the office, late
on a Friday night (you'd think she'd be out celebrating my BD!)

She said Earl was not being concidered for any Harrah's properties right now,
but there was 'a surprise' in the works to replace Jeff Trachta at the RIO
and to...."stay tuned"

Another observation from the #609 NEWSLETTER, is the anouncement
of the PUSSYCAT DOLLS CASINO opening in PURE at Caesars.
Funny how new trends spread so fast in Las Vegas.....It looks like HARRAH'S
is jumping on the bandwagon started by The PALMS and their new
PLAYBOY CLUB CASINO and.........I bet it's just the start of other new, exclusive, mini casinos that start popping up in the other major properties.
Folks will be spending money (addmission cover charges, twenty to fourty bucks...) to go in and LOOSE/WIN money now!.....WHAT A RIOT.

I will send an email to Earl Turner's PR agent and see what I can find out.

That would be great Steve, I'd really like to know what they're
trying to work out...Hope he's not thinking of moving out of the
area unless it's a family thing....

Here is the answer I received:

"As far as Earl's future venue is concerned, he is in negotiations with a few different properties. It is our hope that he will stay in Las Vegas. We remain cautiously optimistic. As soon as there is a decision, it will be posted at www.EarlTurner.com.

Earl's last performance at Palace Station is a week from today. January 28th.

Thank you for your link to this Forum."
