Home of the famous, enduring, ever delicious 99 cent shrimp cocktail (three of which and a draft beer make a meal in my book), a little more for crab cocktails or giant shrimp cocktails, a buck or better for draft beer. Cafeteria style serving, deli sandwiches and outstanding hot dogs available for a couple bucks. The same slightly crabby dude has been tossing shrimp into sundae glasses since I first visited the lunch line in 1998. Great atmosphere, pictures and artifacts from Las Vegas's early years, including the first water lines in the city. The piano player is a great touch, adds to the Old West Frontier culture that Downtown is so good at cultivating. . . . .
