Here is an request I posted in November of 2005:
I would like to ask a favor of our members:
Please do not post "news" articles in the Forums. EX: Robbery At Stardust and include a direct link to read the article.
These are articles I intend to put in the newsletter and I ask that they not be posted in the Forums. I really need to keep the Forums, which are for advice and help, seperate from the newsletter which is for news articles.

Please don't think I am being picky but it really takes away the impact that these articles have when I post them in the newsletter.
Just today (12/20) there was a post with links to 4 articles that I have all set to post in Friday's newsletter. I don't want the Forums to become a "news posting" site as this will directly affect my newsletter.
I hope everyone understands my philosophy about this.
