Hello Everyone
I have finally found a hotel that I love to stay at and plan on staying there from now on. I chose the Orleans Hotel mainly because I often like to play late at night and they have security at the elevators so not just anyone can go to room floors. I also love how friendly and helpful the staff are. I play slots mainly but would like to get brave and play some craps and blackjack, and stud poker someday. By no means am I a high roller, but rather a economy roller.
My question is do the hosts recognize smaller rollers. Is it a good idea to get in contact and establish a relationship with a host and how do I do so? Any suggestions you can give would be great.
Thanks

You would have to define low-roller. Think in terms of time and average bet i.e. 4 hours a day @ 1.25 a bet on slots/video poker.

Comps run from discounts at a coffee shop to full RFB (room food & beverage), so there's lots of room. It's always good to have someone you know and who knows you at the casino, so unless your a very casual player, at least contact a host who can tell you your potential rating, if you have any history in their computer.

Just ask the cocktail waitress or a floorperson to have a host come over while you're playing. Or, you could pick up a house phone and ask for a host on-call.

Good luck! ;)

Thank you so much for the tip Frank. I just am a low roller like to play 25cent slots and video poker. I will be sure to ask when I am there since I would at least like to have a contact. I also learned that I need to keep my credit card open, that way they will take things off at end of visit rather than have everything pd for when I check in.
Thanks again
