Evening all, awhile back I visited some gambling sites that blacklisted the vegas strip for blackjack. The combination of the 6:5 odds and some of the other little nuances they make them a bad bet to play on the strip. I even heard the downtown is trying to pull the same garbage. Most of the others that I talked to said the only way to stop it is to boycott the games long enough so they give it up. I still run into people who think that 6:5 odds for double deck is a steal? Can anyone update the casinos that still have good odds on blackjack? Thanks Blackchipjim! :

Try The New Frontier on the strip and Las Vegas Club downtown. You should find 3:2 double deck.

I'm pretty sure The Orleans has 3:2 double deck as well. Not on the Strip tho.

By far the best single deck is still downtown at the El Cortez, Vegas Club and Western.
The best two double deck games in Vegas are at the Plaza and at Wynn for $15, though there are some other good double deck games on the strip but generally at high limits. A couple of locals places have decent double deck but sweat them severely
By far the best 6 deck shoe games are on the Strip. S-17, late surrender, double on any, double after split, resplit aces etc. They can be found at MGM, Luxor, Trop, Monte Carlo, Caesars and one or two others. Also can be found at the Hilton.
At the MGM for instance you can play a good shoe game for a $10 minimum.
Downtown for single deck.
Downtown and strip for double deck
Strip for 6 deck
Locals for video poker

If I recall correctly, Stardust has $10 minimum double deck (3:2 of course). No mid-shoe entry.
Victoria reported late surrender at some strip casinos. Which ones? I've seen it at the New Frontier and I believe at Luxor (my memory fades), but most places look at you like you're from outer space when you ask....
I concur with earlier post - the Orleans has a good 3:2 double deck game. And the blackjack at the Vegas Club is great.

Wildpitcher:
Late surrender is really available at too many casinos in Vegas to list here but I will mention probably enough. It is found most often on the 6 deck shoe games and rarely on double deck. At some casinos it is only on the $25 and higher tables but at most who offer it, it is on all their 6 deck tables.
I believe all MGM/Mandalay Bay casinos offer it. I know that it is definately at Mandalay Bay, Luxor, MGM, NY NY, Monte Carlo, Bellagio, Boardwalk and Mirage. Also found at Tropicana, Caesars, Hilton. Aladdin ($25 and up), Frontier, Bally's, and probably more. Now I would suspect that sometime soon it might be removed from Ballys and perhaps even Caesars because of the purchase by Harrah's, as Harrah's has always offered inferior blackjack.
It is not offered at many locals places and I do know it was on the shoe game at the Golden Nugget two months ago downtown.
