Family Reunion 8/23/-8/30 at the Orleans. Everything went great! Reserved our car again with Alamo. They upgraded us to a mini-van because they ran out of midsize cars. Alamo always has the lowest rates. We had dinner at the Prime Rib Loft at the Orleans which was very, very good. Will go back again. Ate at the buffet several times & the Courtyard cafe which is always good. We also ate at Big Al's Oyster Bar twice. Had the New England clam chowder(they also have the red) & with the bread is a meal in itself. Husband had the linguine with clams which was also excellent & loaded with clams. Went to the Rio for the Seafood buffet & that was also very good. Filled up my plate with the Slipper lobster tails 4 times. All the food looked terrific! We had our reunion dinner at the Paris buffet & everyone loved it. We also ate at Delmonico's again in the Venetian. Had the rib eye & it was great as usual. The kids had a blast at the Kids Center in the Orleans. They loved the pool. The pool area is very nice & there is a decent amount of shaded areas. Kids also went to the movies & had a great time in the bowling center & the arcade. They also went to Adventureland in Circus Circus, the Shark reef in Mandalay Bay, The Eiffel Tower & the Roller Coaster at the Stratosphere. They also saw a magic show at the Stardust & Mystere at TI. We saw Ray Ramono again at the Mirage & saw 'We Will Rock You" at the Paris, also for the 2nd time. We love that show! Hoping another hotel picks up that show when it supposedly ends it's run in December. Everyone had a great time & it looks like we will be doing it again next August if all goes well.
