Well I made it through another 6 nights in Las Vegas.

I really had a good time even though I was by myself. I had a good time with the members I met at The Sahara and the ones that stayed to see The Scintas.

I also saw Plaid Tiddings with longtime member Jane at The Gold Coast.
I saw Gordie Brown at The Venetian..a great show, Shag With A Twist at The Plaza, which is a totally off-beat show but I really enjoyed it. I saw Bottoms Up and Larry G. Jones at Fitzgerald's. Bottom's Up is still the wild and wacky show it has been in the past and Gennifer Flowers is a great additon to the cast. Larry has overhauled and tweeked his show and that has made the show more enjoyable. The crowd really enjoyed the new George Bush bit.

I did very well gambling coming home with only $80 less than I went with. I did really well with the slots especially with the HOT HOT PENNY slots.

I hope to have a full trip report soon.

We got back to Massachusetts on Monday night after being in Vegas for 6 days as well. I think it might have been a couple days too many.....but we still had a blast. Celebrated my birthday and Thanksgiving with my husband, our older son and his wife. Spent too much money, drank too much, stayed up way too late, but would not have changed a thing...........well, maybe a couple of things.

We stayed at the Luxor--never again. Aside from the fact it is a pretty bland and boring place, the bathroom in our room was not very clean, the beds were like sleeping on rocks, the lighting in the room was so low level you could barely see each other and overall our experience was less than wonderful. Last time we were there we stayed at the MGM and aside from the size of the place, we loved it. TIme before that was the FLamingo (many, many years ago) and enjoyed that, too. Next time will try yet another place.

Wandered in and out of all the casinos, but still love Freemont Street the best.........and the machines there love me the best, too!! Tried some new and great restaurants and just overall had a really good time.

We saw David Copperfield - I was terribly disappointed, my daughter in law and I bought the tickets as a special something for my husband and son as they absolutely love Copperfield. My feeling was he more or less called it in.......it was so low key as to be boring. We saw almost the idential show many, many years locally. Oh well, live and learn. They all took me to the Bellagio to see "O" for my birthday--fabulous, wonderful, incredible, loved it!!

...and thanks for the Show updates! Bring back some 'baby' souvenir T-shirts did ya?
I'm takin' my turn tomorrow (Sunday 3d)...back in a week and hope for the same
luck you had.
Obviously your flight came off OK...I really feel for those folks who are stuck in
that bad weather back there...flights delayed or CANCLED for their special
Las Vegas vacation...HANG IN THERE!

I should have asked Eileen before I went about what size to look for but I didn't...but not to worry, we have already overshopped for Adrianna.

I actually was going to reroute my trip in order to hop up to Oregon to see the baby but the connections didn't work out. Lucky for me because I would have ended up srtanded somewhere as I was going to come home just when the storm hit the midwest.

Just checked out the baby pictures...congratulations to you and Eileen. She is absolutely beautiful. Welcome to the world of grandparents. We were in Atlantic City at the time she was born, that is why I missed it. Got back from Vegas early October.

Really sorry I was just a couple of days late to be part of the meets. Hope to hook up sometime though.

I lost about $40.00 more than you, so you win! :D
