I'm headed for the MGM Grand in October. Does anyone know if the MGM/Mirage slot card is good at all the Mandalay resorts since MGM bought them, or is The One Club card still in existence? Thanks!

I have an MGM card and a One card. I get e-mails from Luxor and Excalibur for cut rates on rooms, meals, etc. I haven't played there much though. Circus sends stuff, too, including Reno. But there is never anything that I would take advantage of. The MGM does not seem very good either. I have played there some and also at the NYNY but only got $36.00 back and hubby had to be with me to get that because our cards were hooked together somehow. I asked about comps and the woman acted like I was stupid when she said we had not earned any. I had dropped about $1,000 at MGM and several hundred at the NYNY. However, this was mostly money I had won there and foolishly put back in their slots. Don't know. They might be the best card in town if you are staying there and you only play at their properties. But we play mostly at Harrahs and Caesars properties and get a lot of free rooms, invitations to tournaments, free shows, and all you have to do to get free food is charge it to your room and when you check out, tell them you want to take it off your points; but you don't get cash back except with coupons in the mail with expiration dates. A lot of people don't like the Harrahs system, but it works for us.

The slot clubs are not yet integrated between MGM MIRAGE and Mandalay Resort Group.

This will take some time - there are many disparate computer systems that are mission-critical 24x7 operations that need to be integrated.

Short story - don't throw away your One Club card yet.
