Hi All,
Just joined your site and look forward to chatting with you all at some point in the future. I'm 31yrs old (today) and work in psychiatric nursing (and yes i'm male and a nurse :o ) and my girlfriend is 28yrs old and is a hairdresser, we are friom the U.K, Liverpool to be exact (where the Beatles come from for those who don't now). It's nice to join a group who all have the same love for vegas. Me and my girlfriend first visited vegas last year and loved it from day one. Can't wait to go back there next year. That is if i don't win the lottery before hand, in which case we will be on the next plane out there.
We stayed at the MGM on our first trip and will be staying at the Paris when we go next year (hope it's as good as the MGM was). I couldn't believe the servise and atmosphere we experienced while in Vegas and have never experienced it anywhere else. It was our first visit to the states and by no means will be our last. We always wanted to go to Florida for our first time in America but this has totally opened our eyes. Vegas is like Florida's Disneyland WITHOUT THE KIDS!!!! .
However there was one down side about our first Vegas trip. All other holidays would be crap in comparison. I could never go to somewhere like Spain, Greece, Turkey e.c.t again as it would just not come close to the experience. Although there is plenty of places to visit in America to keep us happy for the next decade at least.
Thats all for now, just wanted to say hello and introduce myself a bit. Also as we are newbies to Vegas, we do have a lot to learn, so we will probably have a lot of questions to ask and things to learn. So please be patient with us if some questions we ask seem a little dumb.
Thanks to you all and VIVA LAS VEGAS

Fozzy, Welcome to the board! I was in your shoes a year ago with only one trip under my belt and still feeling the awe of the experience. I fell in love with the place and am about to head back for my 5th trip in 14 days. I'm lucky that Chicago is a lot closer to Vegas than the UK!

Just for the record, no question is too dumb to ask. There is a lot of wisdom among the people who hang out here and they're always happy to share it with you. This is one of the coolest on-line communities I've ever run into.

Fozzy -- welcome to our family. We've been going to Las Vegas at least 3 times a year since 1990. Totally agree that Las Vegas is like DisneyWorld, without all those children.

Fozzy Bear,
Welcome to the boards. This is the best place to get your questions answered. My husband and I were married in Vegas and have continued to visit every year and now multiple times a year. We could not love anywhere more. Look forward to seeing you on here.

Welcome, We are glad you found the best place to visit in the states. I have been going to Las Vegas for years and still have lots of questions as Vegas grows and changes so fast it's hard to keep up without the great help of this great "Everything Las Vegas Forum" and it's members:D
