Chippendales vs. Thunder from down Under...I was wondering which show would give me the best bang for my buck so to speak. Both are listed at the same price but which show is better overall (production value, room comfort/sight lines etc)?

Thank you

Well, choosing between Excalibur or RIO is a no brainer. I've heard so many
good things about the package of entertainment for Women at the RIO.
The Chippendales new Showroom, FLIRT LOUNGE...created by Women,
for Women, the restaurants, Masquerade Show In The Sky...the only thing
the RIO is lacking in is the gaming...but the PALMS is close by!

Here's some stuff to look at: www.playrio.com
'click' Entertainment
'click' Chippendales
'click' FLIRT LOUNGE and the 360 tour.
RIO 1.888.746.7482 ask for the Boxoffice.

Haven't seen their show but I saw an article in Sunday's paper about them. "It's slowly dawning on casino owners that they have to do more for women who visit Las Vegas", it said. It says there is a 400 seat theater designed in smooth and curved luxury (like us women). There is a gossip pit and the restrooms have lighting that makes everybody look good. The show, of course, includes the usual bump and grind with some gymnastics, singing, break-dancing and a game called Chipp Shot. Most days they appear in the Masquerade Casino for pictures during the Masquerade in the Sky show. I've seen them there.
Prices $35, $45, $75 for VIP Sky Lounge, $89.95 includes dinner.

Other shows:
Men, the Show, at the Seven restaurant-nightclub, $35, $45
Thunder from Down Under, at the Excalibur, $43.95
Playgirl Presents the Men of Sapphire, at Sapphire, a topless bar, $25

Check out the website. Gives you lots more info.

Haven't seen Thunder from Down Under, but Chippendales is EXCELLENT. I was surprised at how good the actual dancing is, in addition to the eye candy. And when I was there at the end of March, they had a couple aerielists that would give the Cirque productions a run for their money. Athleticism is very sensual! Completely unexpected. I was amused by how skillfully the disrobing was handled by the guys, with themes, blackouts, etc. Gypsy Rose Lee would have approved! And the Flirt lounge is a very nice bar. I recommend it all. But I'm a sucker for most things at the Rio.

The Rio is the Best!! I have stayed there at least 10 times and they treat you like family. From entertainment, amenities, food, rooms, etc...it is total luxury! My friend and I are going the 16th of Nov and they comp'd our suites and offered us free tickets to Scintas too. Make sure to use your player's card and they will send great offers in the mail...some even include free airfare as well. We got non-stop Northwest for $220!! And that is from Detroit. I would highly recommend the Rio, as I have stayed at many other hotels in Vegas and it tops them all! Can't say enough good things about it, it's definitely the place to go!! any questions feel free to e-mail me at kimimurad@aol.com
Have a great trip!:D

My daughter and I have gone to this show several times. We love it...and the men are very nice. If you go to the later show you can go up and have your pic taken with the guys. But the thing about the later show is after the pics are done, they come out and meet you and talk with you and will sign whatever you want them to sign.
If you go see them you wont be disappointed.
