Has anyone seen this show at the MGM? How good/bad is it? I have mostly heard good things but maybe some one could write a review? How far in advance do you need to get tickets?

This is the only Cirque show I've seen. Thought it was very good. The MGM theater is really neat. Comfortable seats and speakers everywhere. Sound is excellent. Best seats are probably section 202 about half way up. We sat in 101 in row L, was okay, but some things went on behind us that we did not catch. There is action even before the show begins. Seats are expensive. (Ours were comped by Harrahs) Best way to get tickets is probably call MGM Box Office or use their website. I have gotten good tickets at other shows at MGM on their website.

KA` is excellent! It's a wonderful twist to the CIRQUE we're used to seeing.
The theatre totally entertains your eyes too...as you walk up the wide, long, shadowy hallway to the theatre, the Asian influence of giant golden brown bamboo architecture starts to form. As the hallway opens up to the Showroom, layers apon layers of scaffolding, catwalks, lanterns and more bamgoo shapes overwhelm your eyes.
Like MYSTERE, the stage has a catwalk in front with a huge open pit behind it. The stage rases and lowers, twists and turns as the Artists are performing on it.
Opposing Warlords battle, hundreds of arrows fly through the air, hand to hand Martial Arts, traditional costumes...a small fishing boat sinks in an ocean storm and you follow the charactors as they sink down hundreds of feet under the water (VERY COOL EFFECT)
Brother and Sister are separated and the story continues to reunite them.
A wonderful flying machine soars over head...AND THERE'S REAL FIREWORKS!
The effects and lighting are just great. Speakers are hiden around all the seats so the sound comes at you from everywhere.
Like MYSTERE, there's pre-show stuff...it starts on the Left side scaffolding so keep your eye over there from time to time....
The Showroom is also very much like MYSTERE's. The Center/Upper Back Section gives the best all-round view of everything.
My seating suggestion is...
SECTION 202, Rows AA,BB,CC,DD,EE,FF,GG.
If you call well in advance, you can get Row AA...VERY COOL! there's
nothing in front of you but the show!
Tickets go on sale 120 days before the night YOU want to see it and they
usually sell out. Choose your date, call the Boxoffice and ask when YOUR night goes on sale and call on that day for best seats.
MGM GRAND 1.800.929.1111 ask for the Boxoffice.
'Debbie's' post down below re. KA` has instructions on finding the seating chart on MGM's website.
