'N9ine' in the PALMS...
I ate there for the first time last trip. I made a reservation but when I got there (6PM, Sunday) I'm sure I could have been seated right away...it wasn't
very crowded...not the case other nights! it can be packed and reservations are a must.
It's a plane, simple decor...modern and some might say a bit cold. Theres a
bar (friendly service/reasonalbe prices) and then it's three-steps-down
to the dining area. It was about half full the night we were there and can
be very full later in the evening, younger crowd with many 'celebs' known to visit regularly.
Our Server was just great. She gave us all the time we needed, full explainations on all your choices...everything is ala cart and $$$$.
It's American fare with an extensive selection of seafood, caviar, but are quite famous for their 'Bone in Ribeyes'. (specials each night also)
We had two small filets, house salads, and order of carrots, broccoli (each come on seperate plates) and 'creamed corn'...CREAMED CORN! it was wonderful! A personal favorite of George Maloof...he requested it one time and was such a hit, they've added it to the menu...made from scratch.
Had a great meal and will and WILL GO BACK!
