Trip Report
Have to share what I call the miracle two hours during our recent Vegas stay, Aug 15 to the 24th. We play mostly 50 Play penny video poker at a local casino. I had been doing poorly all week, having been dealt only one four of a kind in that entire time. Playing double double bonus poker on the evening of Aug 22, I was finally dealt another quad, 4 Aces with a kicker which is good for 2000 x 50 = 100,000 pennies = $1000. After coming off the clouds, I played some more at this machine and then moved on. Playing at the second machine a while and I was dealt 4 aces again, this time without the kicker, but good for $540. I played a little more at that machine and decided to move on to a third machine. Would you believe it, I got dealt for aces again, again without the kicker. This was good for $555. In the space of less than two hours I got 4 aces three times on different machines. I wrote to one of the Vegas VP experts and asked what the odds for doing that were, and he replied the probability was 100%, which it was since I did it. I am still curious what the odds of doing that are if any of your readers know. By the way my wife hit 4 aces a couple of times during our stay so something must have been in the air.
