We will be at Caesars August 14 and 15 and will have a rental car. My question is: where is the valet parking entrance? Las Vegas Blvd or one of the side streets? Last time we tried to valet park there we ended up in the colosseum parking miles from the casino.

Also we have rooms in Palace Tower -- anything we should ask for relating to view, etc. Which direction does the Palace tower face?

thanks

Valet parking is off Las Vegas Blvd.; there are times when the main entrance near registration is filled and they will direct you to the colosseum valet. If you have a Diamond card and the main valet is full, you can often use it after showing the card.

Palace Tower has views that are north and south...the south views now overlook the pool area - low levels of north view are primarily roof of the garage, higher views are Stardust, Venetian, etc.

Since I just got back from Caesars about 4 hours ago, I am an expert on this question.

You enter valet parking to Caesars at the light on LV Blvd. in front of Margaritaville. When you turn in keep to the left. Follow the signs to valet. This week they had signs out that valet was full and available for only 7 Stars and Diamonds and hotel guests. Have your room key ready or a copy of your reservation. Friday afternoon we had been out for a while (I am Diamond) and came back in at 3:30 in the afternoon - the sign said 7 Stars and hotel guests only. I had to show them my room key. I was assigned to VIP parking every day except Friday when it was so busy. That day they put us in a overflow parking lot.

The rooms in the Palace Tower - surprise, surprise. They have been redecorated and look just like the rooms in the Augustus Tower. Only difference is the double bath and double shower. Excellent water pressure and water is HOT. Everything is brand new. Very, very comfortable beds. Large closet and makeup vanity complete with magnifying mirror. Our view was of the pools and we could see the B fountains as well as part of the Paris and southwest Vegas.

I'm curious...did they redo the bathrooms, too? I loved the way they looked before with the tile design above the bathtub...I really thought it was much prettier than the contemporary look in the Augustus Tower.

Since this was my first time at Caesars, I really don't know if the Palace Tower bath was changed. It was nice. It was all marble where parts of the bath in the Augustus Tower were dark wood and the vanity area was small. We were assigned a room in the Augustus the first night because they were so busy and full. Got switched to the Palace for the rest of our stay since that was where I requested when I made the reservation. We got in after midnight and were switched the next morning bright and early. So I did not pay a lot of attention to the bath in Augustus except that it was smaller. The Palace room did not have the full length mirror that is in the Augustus room.

Daughter used the hers bath in the Palace so I did ever really look at it. I'll ask her and report back later.
