I just wanted to say we went out to Vegas the June 15th -21st. It ran so smoothly from the time we parked our car at the Avistar Parking lot at JFK. Which worked out great to the day we came home.

JetBlue is fantastic we never had to wait on line the Airline host are so nice. We had the emergency row. Which was good for my husband for all the leg room. When we arrived in Vegas the tram is right there so you don't have to hike across that airport. We went to Hertz and they upgraded my car to a Pontiac Aztek.

We decided to stay off the strip this time, cause we had plans on traveling around. So I made reservation at the Orleans, it was great, we never had to wait for anything. As soon as we made it to the Hotel are room was ready . We never had to wait for valet parking they always gave us our car within 5 mins. No matter what time of the day or night. The elevators was always there when you hit the buttons. I did good in that hotel gambling, I love to play any bonus machine, so I took a chance and played the quarter wheel of fortune. Now in Atlantic City I can put money in those machines and never get that wheel to spin. At the Orleans I sat down it spun like every other time after the fourth spin I won 500 quarters and then the next I hit for 1000 quarters. Well I was so happy. I also played the bonus nickels and won on the bottom row with double across for 4000 nickels. We had a fantastic time my husband and I and I have been going to Vegas for over 25yrs. This was one of the best with everything working out so smoothly. I would definitely go and stay there again. Plus it didn't cost as much as on the strip. We drove the car to Bally's valet parking and walking around one day. Another we went to Paris and headed down the other end of the strip. Orleans also has a shuttle bus that will take you to the Barbary Coast for nothing if you didn't want to drive. We also hit some of the Local Casino that are way off the strip that were really nice. Suncoast, Green Valley and Monte Largo. If you want to see something really nice take a trip to Lake Las Vegas what a beautiful place. We hike up to Mesquite, the drive was nice and the town is small they have some casino there too. We gambled a little but didn't do much.
So we headed back and went to the Valley of Fire. We really didn't see any shows but we did a lot of visiting.
I love Vegas they have to stop building. I haven't been there in 2 yrs and after seeing what they done. I can't believe all the building and it right on the Las Vegas Blvd. It is a shame the way it use to be at least there was room and you would look down the strip and see the hotel with the signs to see who was playing where. Now you are lucky if you can see down one block. But it is still Fun!
