Hi Steve,

Went to Vegas May 24- June 1. Yes 9 days is a long time in Vegas, but our son is a student at UNLV (how nice is that) so we wanted to spend some time with him. He picked us up at the airport at 6.00pm and we went to Mandalay Bay's Bayside buffet. I can't understand why this buffet does not get it's just due. It does not have a large choice, but hasljumbo cold boiled shrimp, hot crab legs, large scallops and lamb. Well worth the money and no lines
Gambled that night at slots of fun $3.00 blackjack and the Riviera no luck at either place, went back to my sons apartment and went to sleep.
Next morning checked into Bally's for two days $99.00 plus an entry into their slot tournament. We love staying at Bally's always a nice room and the pool is great including the Pina coladas. My wife entered the slot tournament since she does better than I do in them ( she won one at the Monte Carlo) but no luck this time.
Checked out on Friday and stayed with our son for the weekend. Had dinner at TI new buffet Dishes which I enjoyed(not your typical buffet) the wife didn't agree as she likes the typical shrimp, crab, and roast beef type.
Mostly played slots and kept loosing.
Went to Wynn and saw their show which is ok but still think The Bellagio is the best.
Went to Green Vally Ranch and Fiesta Henderson. The buffet at GVR is excellent and the Video Poker at Fiesta is pretty good.
Our last two nights we stayed at the Orleans ( comped rooms) we really like there. If you have been to vegas as many times as I have 15 you really have seen most of the strip
Our last day there our son who works at House of Blues, took us to the Ultra lounge at Mandalay for a tour. All I can say is incredible!
To sum up our trip 9 days is too long but two days home I wanted to go back.
