There is a wonderful documetary that was on A&E awhile back that showed the entire history of Las Vegas.
It still pops up on TV once in awhile.

Also, check out the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Bureau TV channel that is on in most the hotel rooms. They replay many of the aforementioned A&E episodes, plus other content.

I really enjoyed that channel. I wish it was on regular cable.
